It might have been. Since I got the teaching job and haven't recieved a laptop from the school yet, I have to do all my work on my home computer. So everytime I print something, I have to restart my comp to print again :P. Skype has been staying offline for some reason when I do restart...

Well now we can have a compliant NPC do it without having to sacrificd your own XP. That, plus if we are on a time crunch and we have multiple people wanting upgrades, we now have a second charater that can help out.

Also w/ supierior tech, you can only upgrade one type of gear (armor, weapons, devices, droids) and must take the Superior Tech feat multiple times to have access to upgrading other equipment. The droid can help out with that so your not having to completely devote your character to equipment upgrades.

i just looked at your droid he is level 1 without tech spec. Maybe your character has it who knows.

He is a starship designer so I will be taking Superior Tech (Weapons) to complement that skill, which will also help the group. The R2 Unit will also be taking the Tech Specialist feat and the other player that is a soldies already has it.

Alos, I reread the Tech Specialist and Superior Tech feats and could find no refrences to forfiting XP.

[edit]What happend after I left? (We were just leaving the first building with the Jawas.)

Jonny gave me a fancy scope that allowed such a thing once per encounter. Since I'm always moving (Sneak Attack requires I move, as do my skirmisher abilities), aiming isn't normally going to happen for my character. So Jonny gave me a once per encounter gift the night we all got gifts for playing. Found it in some Jawa box along with Jawa drugs and paraphernalia.

there is other ways to aim on the move.
They are all talents I think. Ill post a list later.
Gran species Once per encounter swift to aim)
Gunslinger(once per encounter free) forgot what talent it is pistol something
Outlaw(can take more than one swift during a round letting you aim on the move)
takes three levels
Assassin- sniping Master yeah i know its usless on most the wotc maps.

Gear
Bipod (not good on the move but it will let you do other stuff than just aim and attack)
good if you take the gunslinger talent or a gran or both.

movement talents
Then there is the scout talent that lets you move once per encounter as a reaction. there is a feat that lets you move twice per encounter.

There are a few scout talents that let you move if your damaged
There is a scoundrel talent that lets you move once per encounter if you attack.

I made a pretty cool gran that can aim on the move. Ill post the character later.

Let me check with my wife, but I might be able to run a play by post / Vassel game. I would handle most role play with a dedicated thread, and we would schedule a night when the group can get together for combat to do the roll play on Vassel.

Everyone be on the lookout for a new Prestige class for my character that still allows me talents from the Lightsaber forms tree but DOES NOT have Force Techniques as they all suck for my character build...complete waste of a level save the feat.

Currently I am going with Language Absorption as it fits (somewhat) the idea that he had been bound for the Educational Corps.

Does Adaptable Talent work during combat?? The whole six hours of rest thing is confusing...

IOW, I have Soresu we rest and then go on a mission where we encounter Melee combatants. Can I use this to switch to Ataru, not being able to switch back agin till we rest for 6 hours?
