So I am trying to think up somthing fun to submit for virtual sets. One idea which would be fun for the senate guard fans out there (assuming there's more than just myself.) Is Isaru Omin who was a force sensitive senate guard charged with protecting Bail Organa. He appeared in a fe Starwars: Republic comics. I suppose he's for the Senate Commandos what Brianna is for Handmaidens really. I'm working on making him fun, and also a compliment to Senate Commando squads while not just another double-twin-greater mobile shooter. Here's whatI've come up with sofar.

Isaru Omin, Senate Guard 38 pts, Republic (fig: Senate Guard)
Hp: 80
Def: 20
Atp: +11
Dam: 30

Abilities:
Unique
Double Attack
Evade
Advantageous Cover
Bodyguard
Affinity (Costs 4 points less when in the same squad as Bail Organa)

Force Powers: Force 2
Force Renewal 1
Force Sense 2 (2 Force. As regular force sense but also negates Cloaked)
Blaster Barrage

So that's what I have sofar. There's a few ideas I have been thinking over. Perhaps Heavy Weapon + Suprise Move might make him feel more like a guard who benefits from force powers. Accurate shot or Blaster Barrage would be fun but perhaps too much considering buffs he'd get from Argyus. What do you folks think?

I'd limit Force Sense 2 to just canceling Stealth and Cloak. I'd also bump up his cost, as it seems rather low for him having Advantagous Cover and Bodyguard. Other than that, it looks solid.

i would say balster barrage wouldnt be too bad. It cant get accurate any way currently so it would be cool for something for republic.

It's tough adding somthing to senate commando squads. It's hard to come up with somthing balanced that costs 30+ points that I'd pick over two more senate commandos. But okay, I added Blaster Barrage and increased the cost to 38. Now that I think of it, you're right. In republic, he's not really able to gain Sniper or Accurate shot so in order to make it do anything, things need to fall into place.

here is a good way to word force sense 2 would be
Force sense 2(Force 2: useable only on this characters turn: Enemy Characters lose Stealth and Cloaked for the rest of the round)

Oh yeah, I'd definitely word it like that. I just wrote it the way I did for expediency and cus I figured you'd all know where I was going with it.

28 defense in cover for a 38 point pieces seems excessive. Maybe lower the base defense?
