--GenKaan--
62 Darth Revan, Sith Lord
36 Atton "Jaq" Rand
36 Darth Traya
36 Lord Kaan
14 Exar Kun, Dark Force Spirit
6 Mouse Droid x2
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

(199pts. 10 activations)

I'm thinking we will be seeing a few squads like this in next years Gencon tourneys. Jaq is solid at range, Traya is great with sith Rage from Exar Kun and Kaan can cripple the opponent bad enought that Revan, Traya and Jaq should be able to clean up the rest. Moving Exar close enough so that it takes a save of 15 to reduce the damage of Thought Bomb to 40 dmg is nasty. Any thoughts on the competitiveness of this squad, or improvements?

I'd maybe be tempted to work in Darth Bandon for one of the 36 point pieces, and then have 3 extra activations. Getting Revan up to 80 damage assaults is scary, and it's good to have some Rodian Brutes to swap in if you're doing a hit and run. But it looks good the way it is too.

Revan squads will be very powerful, now that he has some decent mid-costed pieces to work with. Atton is my favorite, though Kaan is good too, and Traya is never a bad choice.

I'm not sure how much Bandon would help before the end-game, since Revan is often charging out to do his attacks, which will put him more than 6 squares from Mice/Bandon. But if there is a way to do it consistently and reliably, Bandon could be good...if only for the extra damage at end-game, he could be a good choice.

The other option is drop exar and traya for zannah. Get off a good nuke and it's really hard to kill zannah and revan with full hp. Exar should also be on jaq with this build. 40 damage shots are too good to pass up

There is an upside and downside to attaching Exar to Jaq. It increases Exar's survivability but since you'll likely keep Jaq more back than on the frontline, it limits the use of Exar's SA/FA.

The genius of having Exar in the squad is that you can decide it for each matchup. In Rebel squads, you know that GhostObi is always haunting Luke RC, because nobody else is a good candidate...but in this squad you have two very good candidates.

Hmm, I seem to remember saying that OR and Sith would be gaining a LOT of build options once R&R was released.... :D I think this might be my favorite set ever...along with DotF.

I like it. I would probably stick to either Kaan or Traya, dropping one for some other options.
