Some of you may read earlier this week that SWShoebox was coming down after years of being a resource for the community.

I was really sad to read this.

Well I decided maybe we could do something about it. I happy to report that SWShoebox will soon be joining the Gamers family. I have agreed to host nad keep this resource alive and well. I think it is still a valuable resource for some and think it's historical value for us old timers is not to be lost. I am very excited that we could avoid losing this site. This was one of the biggest helps I had back on the early days for squad building.

So be sure and remember to use the site as it too will be getting the Destiny of the Force. I think it will be great to have several options when it comes to having DotF up. Both Shoebox and Bloomilk will have it.

Nice save Dean. I hope the two sites can eventually become integrated, it is definitely a great resource and I'm glad we are not losing it. Now if you can just get a Vassal application up this site will have it all.

Ok guys, dean isn't necessarily gone for good. Life does happen outside these boards and the game. I'm not trying to be inflamatory, just saying that there has been some negativity lately towards him it seems for not being on and not many know what is actually going on.

Again not meaning to start any arguements, just think its wrong to talk about someone when they are not able to speak for themselves and respectfully ask that we keep it civil.

My comment was not meant as derogatory or negative, nor was it uncivil - I am GLAD Dean is back!

I simply miss SWSHoebox and was asking , apparently in poor form, if this was not going to happen.

BTW, if I left to go outside to get something from my car, it doesn't mean I'm gone forever. I am not trying to argue either, but seeing as how I've not posted a single negative thing about Dean, I think you concern was misplaced.

I was disappointed because I thought at one point the guy and I were going to get things done all he had to do was move his stuff to my server.... he just never did. It would have been cool there was a lot of history there.

By the way I am not totally back it is just that well swm gamers belongs to me and i guess I feel I can chime in once and a while. I still get rid of some of our bots.
