No clue. I'd probably just say whoever mods each levels squad board would be my top ones.

I haven't played enough to have a toughest 5 and I only play on Vassal, but here goes...

Billiv15
Sixfootoneder
Mikl
TK-421
Fool (Even though I haven't played you, you sound like you want to be on someone's list)

If GenCon taught me one thing it is this: the top tier opponents are really equal in terms of skill in play. I am not afraid to face one person over another anymore. Furthermore, I do not think I made any vast errors in gameplay more so then any of my opponents (I did make one against LV B&B but the opponent could not capitalize on it so no loss there).

So, my top 5 is:

Everyone that played decently at GenCon or elsewhere in the world at their championships.

At the very top of the list, in personal reasons only, I put Dr_Divot, because when you pair somebody who rolls like I do against somebody who rolls like he does week in and week out, yeah I don't manage too many wins against him. SWTCG though... look out. I can roll D6's (tusken horde triumphs again).

Yeah, I have to say that pretty much any of the guys who ended up in the top 15 or so at GenCon could make a list of top 5's for me. But even then, there are a few outside of that. A couple of the guys at my weekly venue would probably make the list, but would be people you guys don't know here anyways. Overall though, I think it's sometimes harder to play against people from your own venue, because after a while, you really start to learn how the other person thinks (and they about you) and so there's a unique advantage there, as opposed to events like GenCon where you're playing against somebody that you've never faced before.

Yeah, pretty much!
I am honored that you would think of all the times I've taken to Fool out behind the woodshed!

Anyone who knows me knows my nemesis in Star Wars minis! However, no one has seen or heard from him since Gencon. Perhaps he and his brother have hung up their lightsabers and gotten out. No one knows! Perhaps he will show up to Release Tourneys this weekend. His lack of showing for playing minis has drastically increased my DCI rating, so I'm not complaining at the moment. It isn't that he is so much better than I, but it just totally seems that no matter what I decide to play, he has thought of the best counter to it and just happened to have pulled it out.
Sorry, did I just go on a rant. I lost myself. . .
In 200 points, one person I have yet to defeat is Rimeeri. He is a good strategist, I will give him that. I haven't sat down and played against Dean in a real game ever, and don't really want to. I know him. I know his squads. I know his style. I know I don't want to have to think THAT hard and still get my shebs handed to me on a silver platter.
My favorite people to play against on Vassal so far have been thereisnotry and Fool. TINT always edges me out, which makes for an exciting game, and Fool is a blast to play against. I care about enjoying the game, not winning the game. Most of the best players out there are like that, as was so evident at Gencon. Of course, there are poor sports in every game, no matter whether it is skill or luck they have lost to.
Okay, I didn't quite stick to the five rule, but I think I kept the spirit of the thread alive. :D

I would have to say that I am the toughest player I play against.

Whenever I play against myself I always lose. :x

(Of course, I am undefeated against myself too.)

For me personally,
1. Fingersandteeth
2. Shinja
3. MTMagus
4. Engineer
5. Billiv15

I ranked them in about the order I feel I can learn the most from.

They are all tough and play different styles.

I don't know. I've played me a couple times, and I found it pretty easy to get into my head.

Hmm my toughest 5 opponents.. ofcourse this is all on vassal..

1. Engineer
2. Ikillgungans
3. Gamer (Darth Rancor)
4. Rimeeri
5. Dark Lord Verjal (you little punk)

I just remember getting aboustely destroyed by Engineer in Chimera's Vassal League, IKG I could never beat, and Gamer.. I'll never forget my 7 hour battle we had once back in Chim's League, he ran boba RS, Aurra, Thrawn (before Mas, remember that??) and such against my Old School X-1 Viper/Sidious Squad. He won that game via gambit, it was before I knew much about gambit, but man that was one of my best games ever. Ofcourse there's Russ and the GVL beat downs, and DLV always manages to destroy me even when it looks like I'm gonna win the vassal dice come out and kick me in the privates.

I would have bill up here but I never acutally played him, or I should say I haven't gotten whooped by him yet.

My 5 most fun opponents to play against just for kicks..

1. Fool
2. TINT
3. Emr131
4. Grambo
5. Roulex

All of these guys are great players and are tough to beat but win or lose I always have a lot of fun playing against them.

Ok so I got to thinking about it the other day after listening to all the sports radio about the BCS and who is gonna end up playing where for College Football National Champ..

So i got to thinking afterwards and who would be the toughest 5 players to have to play???? Then I decided I would find out what everyone thought

So who are the toughest 5 opponents you would have to play at each of the point levels or just overall

For me:

100:

No real clue here as I dont play it enough

150:
Billiv15
Engineer
Fingersandteeth
Ikillgungans (if anyone remembers him besides me)
Tie to either of the Tanner Boys

I am not saying these are the best..... But I am saying that these are 5 opponents I know that no matter what squad they play will give you a run for your money or beat you straight out

200: (My favorite point level by the way)

Billiv15
Fingersandteeth
Nickname (yes the Tanner boy everyone knows)
JumpinFLea
Engineer

Honorable Mentions: Rimeeri and Millertime both are very difficult opponents but I pretty much know how they think and I sometimes am able to get in their head...... even to the point of outbursts!!!

Yeah, :P, I remember IKG. Been forever since I last saw him though. I'm just happy your top 5 list includes 4 people I have played and beaten before and 2 people who have yet to beat me before (Looking at you IKillGungans and Fingers :P).

Tough Call. I agree with Emr and Lobo there are a lot of solid players, but I wont take the easy way out, I will force myself to name 5. And these are also based on personal experience as much as any other objective category I can use.

1. MtMagus - I play the guy so much that its almost impossible to surprise him any more.
2. Fingersandteeth - we've only played each other twice in real life (I think), but he plays and thinks a lot like MtMagus and I, and well, that makes it always a tough game right to the end. Not to mention that we talk strategy quite a lot which breeds a great deal more familiarity with each other.
3. Dnemiller - for many of the same reasons as the above, but from Vassal rather than real life. In 200, I alone, I would make him #1.
4. WedgeIkari - I mean come on, 15-5 Gencon match - what more can you say :)
5. K-zoo group - OK, so I kinda skimped here, but I just couldnt decide. Anyone of them can beat me on a given day, Engineer, Lou, Ben, Uliq, Sen, James, heck, Ive even lost to Jake :)
