Thank you guys!

I won't pretend the mandalorians were easy to paint, but they're the most fun pieces to put together i think. I was so busy doing mandos at first, that i had to set them aside for a while to do something from the other factions :)

Saul Karath looks kind of angry on all the pictures i found. I tried to make him look that way, but it's really hard with such small models and i'm not that skilled when it comes to the smallest details. But i'm happy with how he turned out, glad you like him Dimetrodon.

Finished a couple more:

Lieutenant Page (DotF)
Ben Skywalker (DotF)
Jedi Demolitionist (DotF)
General Weir (RaR)

That General Weir is real nice, great blend of the bandoliers on his body, a perfect size. I'm surprised so many people made customs of him in all the various threads I've seen. He's a pretty minor character heh.

Oh and I'm gGlad to see Spoiler used for another demolitionist, although you actually painted yours unlike mine haha. Now i feel lame, but oh well. If I ever repaint mine it'll be a ways off to get other figures finished up. I have a whole lot of Mandalorian projects to do. But first a trip to my buddies Cabin this weekend. I look forward to seeing more customs when I return maybe ;)

@Dimetrodon: Yeah i had never heard of Weir either, but he seemed pretty easy to make so i went for it. As for the Spoiler figure, i actually got it just for his cape, which looks really good. But then when i scavenged through my fodder box, i thought he would make a pretty good jedi.

@Strahlung: Thanks, it does require a lot of patience. I'm terrible at making stats though, otherwise i might make some up for the Max Rebo band :D

Well it's been a while since i last got something done, and i also had to make doubles, triples or more of some of the non-uniques. That sucked. The first custom is always fun to make, but making 5?? Not so much.
But i've had some time off lately and have finished a couple of projects. Added these to the posts:

Old Republic Senator (DotF)
Rebel Commando Munitions Expert (DotF)
Jodo Kast (DotF)
Nikto Pirate (DotF)
Jaster Mereel (DotF)
Green Squadron Rookie (RaR)
General Rom Mohc (RaR)
Sullustan Pilot (RaR)
Naboo Trooper (BoTP)

Ahh, the goods are served again! I like all the new ones

I straight up don't recognize the base figure for that OR Senator, what is that one?

I really, really like that blue color the way it came out for the Decipher Jodo Kast. That just looks perfect.

Did you sculpt the arms on the Jaster? They feel unfamiliar as well.

Thank you. Being an old CCG player, I had to give Jodo Kast that paint job. Always liked those colors better anyway. Otherwise, I think he resembles Boba too much.

The OR Senator started as a Luke Skywalker, Force Spirit before he was transformed into a quarren. Jaster's arms are from the Human Mercenary but I added some green stuff to make them look right.

You've got some of the most perfect paint jobs here I've ever seen. I would name which ones stood out to me, but none stand out because they're all so beautifully done. You must have an very steady hand and/or some grade A equipment; I suspect an airbrush set.

And I love how you used that LEGO piece for the demolition piece! Sort of fits, since you're in LEGO's home country.

Wow thanks man.

I guess i do have a steady hand, but the only equipment i use is a paintbrush, citadel paint, green stuff and lots of wash.

And yeah, that LEGO arm fit just perfectly :D .. and as a side note, LEGO is by far the best toy ever, hands down and all that.

Are you using the citadel washes? I generally mix my own but I kind of want to just pick up pre-made ones so it is always the same consistency.

Anyway I love all the new pieces you put up, especially the droids

Yes it's just Citadel washes, mostly badab black. I'm not that good at mixing paint so i usually stick with the standard colors and washes.

that Jedi Seer is impressive. and I am no expert on Gotals but I recall them as being intuitive with the protrusions on their head, perhaps a spider sense if you would haha, so excellent choice right there. Was this intentional?

Fantastic Inquisitor as well, and same for that Battle Droid and NR Trooper, very well done as usual :D

I'm pretty sure you're right about the gotals, and that was indeed part of the reason i used one as a seer. I intended to use the gotal mercenary, but couldn't figure out how to do it so i made this instead.

The inquisitor is inspired by a concept artwork from TOR, and was actually one of the easiest customs i've made to date. The NR trooper was a pain, as i was being picky and wanted one with a cape. Had to butcher poor Lando to get it, but hey the guy was a slimy, double-crossing, no good swindler anyway :D

Thanks Don!

I'm taking a break from customizing at the time, as i hit a brick wall a while back. I kind of ran out of ideas and such, and also found it pretty hard to keep up with the V-sets. So i decided to put it on the shelf for a while, but i'll get back to it at some point. Hopefully soon.
On the other hand, i've been working on some 3D terrain (buildings and such). I'll post that here as well when i have something to show.

I hope you get back to it soon! Those are some amazing customs with excellent painting! I wish I could paint like that.
And if your attention to detail is an indication, then the 3D models you're working on should also be fantastic!

Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the great work!

They're all brush painted. I don't even know how to use an air brush :D

If you need any tips on how to customize, BlooMilk has this great guide:
