I hope I'm not alone on this one, but Luke Skywalker was the Reviver of the Jedi Order, Destroyer of the First Death Star, etc., etc. However, we now have 12 different variations of his persona in the miniatures game. How many of them are Commanders? One, and it is on the sadest incarnation, plus the CE is pretty weak compared to others in the game. Yes, I know in the first movie he was just a whiney punk kid, you don't have to tell me that one! But after that, he became a leader of the Rebellion, instituted Rouge Squadron, and took an active role. I just think there should be more Luke's with effective Commander Effects. Rant over :D

Ya it is kinda sad. If you want a luke with a cool CE, go make one and put him in the custom section of the board.

i hope they only give us 1, i repeat, 1 luke in LOTF. a Grandmaster. IMO, the best Force User mini in the game. with a commander effect that it represents his leadership skills. not that BS +1 fp.

Isn't Luke more flexible when he accepts all these other commander effects?

Oh, I won't deny that! His pieces are usable, but I don't think they have truly represented the character of Luke Skywalker yet! Just a personal, fan-boy opinion!

I'm all for a Luke with a stellar commander effect, I too think that a Luke with an awsome commander effect will truly represent what Luke should look like.

The character of luke spans about 50 years, so there's ample reason for him to be both a Commander and a Follower.

Personally, to me, Luke is a Jedi and I don't even like the character until after he starts his Academy so a GrandMaster Luke would be just sweet.

I agree Grandmaster Luke needs to be made and he needs to put all others to shame..........

With the new Wedge we're getting in TFU, I won't be the least bit surprised to see a Luke, Rogue Squadron Leader at some point in the future that will affect other pilot figures. It is kind of odd though since Luke was referred to as "Commander Skywalker" from ESB through ROTJ.

I have no idea why they have such a hard time making a decent Luke.

They want to get all cute with him and I think we've all seen the kind of quality that fig gets when it gets "cute"

I agree, having just recently watched Episode VI the figures don't accurately represent his power.

A commander Luke would be nice.

Unlike Anakin, right? lol :D Vader seems to have some good CEs regardless of his origin.

I agree that the follower Luke is pretty much done now. From here on, we need to see how he inspires others in the Rebellion and (almost) single-handedly starts the New Jedi Order. We can hope.

Everyone keeps talking about Grand Master Luke, which will be cool, but I'm also looking forward to a Luke, Rogue Leader.

Well, now that the 30 year anniversary is about over, we should be seeing a lot more Prequel and EU in the upcoming sets. Hopefully that means more new characters.
