Ok one week we did a 2 on 2 battle my friend had some sith with lightning and one of our enemies had a now bomb squads. it was a large map so it took a while to get contact going. the nom bomb squad came at us and were so eager for action that they got in a line for a piece of us. the sith decided death by electrocution was in order for the first one. we got rid of the first on and need I say more? chain reaction BOOM! 90% of his squad was gone

yeah, if he used lighting on an advance scout or another vong piece with stealth(I don't remember all of the vong pieces with stealth), then that game wouldn't count since the vong have force immunity.

Best Nom Bomb story I have: In a large free for all, I had Luke and pals, one of my opponents had Nom Bombs. Eventually, towards the end of the game, I was down to just Luke and the opponent was down to just Nom. Every other player was busy killing each other off. Nom got Luke down to 10 damage and then Luke finished off Nom. Tie game for us! (we just play kill em all in larger games)

One time at our LGS, one of the kids brought a Vong army with Nom and bombs. He played a guy that brought a Dark Trooper Phase 3, on Korriban. Kid clumped all of his army together to start. DTP3 went first, Missile YV Warrior, spent about 10 minutes figuring out missile/bomb damage. Afterwards damaged Nom and Warmaster were all that was left.

My only Nom bomb story is more of a Boba BH story. I had a game that wasn't going well and in a desperation move I had Boba base Nom. I then rolled the magic 20 to take the full health Nom and his CE out of the game. Boba was imeadiately finished off by the rest of the Nom squad, but my remaining WFF were able to finish off the rest of Nom's no longer exploding fodder.
