Not sure if this topic goes into General, but......

Map locations I'd love to see made (and would buy, hint hint):

Tantive IV
Death Star Throne Room
Trade Federation Battleship Interior (classic episode 1 bridge area and surrounding rooms & corridors)
Prince Xizor lair
Lair of Grievous (from the Clone Wars cartoons)
Utapau

Obviously they can't be named as above but they could be a good representation without getting into trouble with George

I know there are some of the above maps already out there, but I was mainly aiming this at JC, ArmoredGear and Mapmaker as I have most of your maps already and love them.

I'd quite like to see a Lusankya facility map.

My contribution to the mystery map event is a Utapau map that will remind you a bit of Battlefront 2.

I can't say much about the others except that I've been looking at doing some of them.

So with one being Utapau, the other may perhaps be... Lair of Grievous!!! That would be most excellent.

I've got sketches and long term plans for the top half of that list. :)

Nice! Those three would look excellent, especially excited for the trade federation bridge. You certainly have a lot of maps on the go at any one time Chris

My "Trade Federation Boarding Craft" is actually about 70% finished, just as it has been for about two years now. I shelved it because A) WotC stopped buying maps, B) The Saga edition adventure I was using it in passed it by (we played those scenes out on a semi-finished printout), and C) it wasn't turning into a very balanced skirmish map.

The throne room was sketched as a part of four new Death Star levels that I created to line up with the original Rebel Storm poster. I still hope to revisit those someday.

I've created two different sketch versions of the Tantive IV: One in the form of a multi-level poster map, reasonably faithful to the Incredible Cross Sections book. (The sketches showing the rear half of the ship were never finished, but the front was done.) The other version was built with a set of terrain cards that can be reconfigured to form a huge variety of ships. a Corellian Corvette was one of them. That terrain card set is still in the works, but other poster projects keep getting bumped ahead of it.

As for the rest: I never even thought about doing Xizor's lair, but I did intend to map Grievous's lair someday. Utapau was on my list of SW locations to map, but I hadn't given it any serious consideration yet.

I have a LOT of sketches that I want to create finished maps from someday. Realistically, I'll never get to them all, but there are some of them that I keep coming back to.

Utapau I would think would be tricky, as the coolest thing about the planet was that the city is effectively lots and lots of layers on top of each other. So to do it proper justice, youd need a 3d map of some sort.

Since that obviously isnt an option, a multi-tiered thing could be verty cool. However, if you were to go for another (after the space station thing) set of posters that all hook together, I think the Death Star ones would be coolest, and likely sell better.

That should be verti-cool. ;)

Agree that a huge Death Star map would probably be popular, and definitely awesome. :)

I'd be excited (and buy) any maps off my list at the top. Some classic locations and great to hear some are in the works, and others have been sketched. Awesome
