I think it interesting if some would field guesses about how many people will attend the regionals. With interest seemingly down in may areas, it seems the turnouts will be less robust.

With that, I say that Kokomo (IN.) regional will have 14 players on 4/30.

I'm thinking anywhere from 15-20 for Charlotte.

I'm expecting around 25 for Maryland, with upwards of 30 possible.

If I've heard correctly, we're looking at 20+ in Ontario. I think it's great that our friends from Buffalo are coming! And London isn't far from Michican either, hint hint.

We just don't allow IG-Lancer Droids in Ontario...you'll have to declare them at the border, and they'll be confiscated. :)

Awesome, is that actually a rule for the Ontario regional?

 No, I was just joking.

We in Canada play by the same rules that our American neighbours do...in fact, we're the ones who have been subtly manipulating the development of rules from the start...and the V-sets are the greatest Canadian SWM accomplishment so far!

Forget SWM: the V-Sets are the greatest Canadian accomplishment. Period. The list goes like this:

1. V-Sets
2. Poutine
3. Rush
4. Universal Health Care
5. That one Kids in the Hall skit where Bruce McCullough tells Kevin McDonald that "Doors fans aren't made, they're born."

Haha nice list, of course being this is a star wars game we left out shatner haha. But ah man I wish that was a rule, stupid lancer. Just so good at what it does it makes all the rest of the Droids not so good. Except series two destroyer Droid, he's ok too haha.

The VA Regional is expecting to have around 20 people show up. Jim, any idea if you or any of your guys will be able to make the trip down?

Sincerely,
Jester007

Rush should be #1 no matter what the list is.

Actually we try to forget about Rush most of the time. Neil Young however is a national treasure.

By "Rush", you of course meant "Triumph".

I very much agree with the Neil Young statement. Here in the USA we consider him a national treasure too! :P

The WI Regional has had 40-44 the last two years. So, we're expecting about that again.

Plus, we expect a good showing from the locals. By "good showing," I mean good turnout not high rankings at the end of the day. :)

Atlanta has had 20-25 the past two years, and we will probably have about that many again this year.

it was 32 and 38

So around mid 30's is what I think WI will get.
