Darth Malak 52 pts.
4-Lom 21 pts.
Gonk 12 pts.
Duros Explorers x2 14 pts.

I just got Malak, so I decided to make a JIS squad. Malak distracts enemy beatsticks, while 4-Lom double attacks. The bespins combine fire with 4-LOM, for massive attack ratings. I like Malak, and I think 4-LOM is the best support for him in 100. And hey, I even found a way to use his CE. Ain't that great?

The Squad on Shoebox:

I also made a 150 version, with the BH version of 4-LOM, which is also on shoebox.

(KALAM! is !MALAK spelled backwards btw )

I like this idea a lot. Good job!

If you go against an accurate shooter, they'll be able to take out the GONK unless you can get really creative with positioning around a corner or something. But against a non-accurate squad, I think you've got a great setup.

Another option would be to use 2 Duros Explorers instead of 3 Bespin Guards. You lose an activation, but you gain Spotter +10 and Evade on your fire combiners.

I think that actually may be a better option. I'll make the adjustment.

I like it.
Malak is fun. I suggest dropping the Gonk, He is just to slow for Malak at 100 points. I suggest a bodyguard instead of the Gonk.

The gonk is for 4-Lom. At this point level, 4-LOM is only good with double attack. Otherwise, he's not worth using.

I see your reasoning here, however I still think you should drop the gonk for a twi'lek bodyguard and an ughnaught. However, you could use a gonk if you are fighting scrubs and no accurate.

Personally, I think 4-LOM is good even without Double Attack.

I like using the Gonk for 4-LOM. It is vital to keep it around a corner or something when Accurate shooters are around.

4-LOM was one of my favorite pieces through the first 4 sets or so.

That's what I usually do. I usually play on the ROTS starter map, and on that map it isn't a problem.
