So I wanted to use the new Wedge in a 100 pt. build and decided to see how many cheap Rebel pieces I could fit in. I ended up with a squad with a lot of HP (320) and activations. Damage output is a little hit-or-miss.

Rebel Leader [18]
Luke Skywalker on Tauntaun [16]
Princess Leia, Senator [13]
Rebel Trooper on Tauntaun [13]
Wedge Antilles, Red Two [13]
Verpine Tech [12]
Juno Eclipse [8]
Mon Calamari Tech Specialist [4]
Ugnaught Demolitionist [3]
[100pts. 9 activations]

Between Spotter +20 and Jolt, I think this squad could do alright (there's the unlikely potential for 140 damage in a single round). The Verpine is going to have a big target on his back, so I'll have to try to keep him out of sight. What do you think?

[Edited: Changed Leia RH to Leia Senator.]

Looks like fun.

I'd make one slight change. Replace Rebel Hero Leia with Senator. Then, with the extra point, get rid of one of the Demos and put in a Mon Cal Tech for another spotter!

I like it a lot.

Hmm...yeah, I can see pros and cons to that switch. I originally went with Leia RH instead of Senator because RH has +20 HP, +1 Attack, and +1 Force for only 1 point more. RH can survive a twin from Boba or a hit from Bane whereas Senator can't. That said, she probably would be a Spotter in this build as I'll likely be attacking with the Rebel Leader, Luke, and Juno (and combining with the rest). So the extra attack bonus and Force don't make much of a difference. Leia Senator has the better CE too...and an extra Spotter would be nice.

Okay, you convinced me. :)

Wow, that's kind of cool. Would be very dependent on winning key inits against opponents like Bane or Boba. But you'd have a good shot at taking out ALL of an opponents fodder by the time they close in on you, which means you get to control most of what is going on in the later rounds.

Jolt should help a lot, although if you had a Twin attack in there, Jolt might be more helpful. Just do your best to keep everybody out of Line of Sight using either Mobile or Leia's CE (this is why Senator is better than RH). I also might be tempted to drop Juno, the Mon Cal, and Luke for Luke Hoth Pilot Unleashed instead, but I'm not 100% on that. I'm just trying to figure out some way to get you a bit more firepower.

I don't know about this squad, but then again I'm not a fan of this new version of Wedge. Verpine is awesome though. A couple stuns on Bane would work wonders.....

Definitely needs to win the early initiatives and get some hits in on the Big Boys.

Looks like fun though. I think I will give it a try. I like using pieces that normally sit in my box and these do (or will):

Luke Skywalker on Tauntaun
Princess Leia, Senator
Rebel Trooper on Tauntaun
Wedge Antilles, Red Two
