So if you sacrifice a ungaught or whatever to the tactics broker, would you get a save of 16 from leia, hoth commander? That would be very cool, but I'm not sure.

Any thoughts?

i'd say this, along with detonating sacrifices, will not occur with tactics broker.

The wording 'remove this character from the board, it counts as defeated'
leads me to believe that you remove the character without the option of resolving any 'when defeated' effects.

I my be wrong but the devil is in the details with rules usually.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but so far, I agree with fingers on this one. I don't think the Tactics Broker is going to be nearly as powerful/useable as a lot of people are hoping. Will certainly be good, but not as good as it could be. Which is OK for me though, as I'd really rather not see one in every single squad, lol.

I am almost positive this was ruled on with Exar and avoid defeat. I expect it to be the same (you can't sacrifice a character then try to save it).

I didn't think it would work, but I'd figure that I should ask. Thanks.

Yeah, but Exar's SA specifically says 'that ally is defeated', whereas Tactics Broker says 'counts as defeated'. It's that stupid nuance between the words.

Like I said before, I hope it gets ruled otherwise, because it will make for a huge boost to Nom Bomb, Mon Mothma, and Exploding Ugo squads, but I'm not expecting it.

I really hope the character counts as defeated. Then exploding uggys will be a must in any squad. :D
