I heard your update on the SHNN tonight, Jim; terrible situation all around, but it can absolutely be overcome. Your family remains in my thoughts!

Thanks again to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I am truly blessed to be a part of this community. As I said on the show last night, the doctors have told us that Debbie has Multiple Myeloma, a rare kind of bone cancer. She just had a biopsy yesterday, so I don't know at this point what we'll be in for as far as treatment goes. Obviously I won't be doing anything that requires some long range planning or committments, so GenCon and organizing a regional is out. Hopefully we'll have someone take over the reigns for a Pa-Md regional; early estimates I'd made based on conversations indicated a good turnout.

We still covet and appreciate your prayers. As Christians, we have seen the power of prayer in action. Thanks, everyone.

Dude, I met Debbie, and if anyone can CRIT the SH!T out of Cancer it's her, Jim. She's just that awesome. (In my opinion at least. She helped me with William after he barfed red juice all over himself and looked like a little zombie at the resturant, but this thread isn't about my tangents.)
