Here is an idea. Use Kazdan Paratus and Muun Tactics Broker. You also need a few Ugnaughts to be safe until Kazdan kicks in.

Kazdan has a 67.2% of getting at least one Immediate Droid Reserves within the first 5 turns. With the 30 points, you pull 7 Battle Droids, which you use to sacrifice to the Broker.

Then there is a 79% chance you roll at least one Immediate Droid Reserves before you run out....

Rinse and repeat.

Thoughts? I think it is good, except for those few times you don't roll reserves. Also, it is kinda costly points-wise for what you get....

I was just thinking about that, so funny that you should bring it up. Kazdan might be the first character I run the Muun Tactics Broker with, but I'd be worried about one of my friends running San Hill against me. He'll keep getting 20 points of reserves and I might get 30 points of reserves if I get lucky on the rolls. Could potentially be the longest game ever, lol...

Reserves still count for points, they are not free.

So each round you gain 4 points. Kadzan is forced onto you and you can tear him a new one.

Droid Squad with Nute Gunray & San Hill together would be a problem vs. Muun Tactics Broker. Two lots of 20 Reserves a Round :)

Eh....only a problem if you're playing DCI. If you are playing Kill 'em all, that could certainly cause a LONG game, lol.

That would NOT be my idea of a fun game.

Would be a Zombies type game. Worse and worse odds against a growing horde. If anything that could be quite funny.

Zombies rocks as a game.

The game is being geared more and more towards a points conclusion. Even if your playing for fun with all these reserve characters its probably best to play to build total.

Nute Gunray, people keep bringing him up, but he's worthless.

Normally, yes. But not if you're running a Droid squad vs the Tactics Broker :)

Not as an anti-Muun Tactics Broker he isn't!

An all Droid squad with San and Nute to back them up makes a killer MTB counter, lol.

The muun tactics broker is definetly NOT broken. It is a poision. It slowly kills you, while making your opponent suffer too. But your opponent has just to avoid you, and you'll slowly die from your own charcter.

It will only see play from lobot bringing it in, because having it in your base squad is retarted. If you face san, you'll just be giving your opponent more activations and firepower. San is the main reason to NOT have a tactics broker in your squad.

Another counter to the Tactics Broker is Jolt or any Stun abilities.

The MTB player will no doubt include a way of defeating his own MTB, but if you can keep stunning this charcater he's going to have a problem.

Sunning the Tactics Broker will do nothing at all. His ability is automatically triggered when you would roll for initiative, so it has nothing to do with whether the character is activated. Granted, Jolt will still be annoying for them, because if you manage to activate the opponent's pieces enough times, he won't be able to kill you fast enough before the the fodder runs out.

No, that's not what I meant.
The MTB player will probably take a flame-thrower/Force Push character to eliminate their own MTB if they need to. But if you Stun this character, not the MTB, they're then stuck with possibly eliminating thoer own high cost piece.

And these reasons (kill your own figs, San Hill) are why the MTB will be in squads for about a week and then they will be brought in by Lobot only when facing Thrawn or Revan.

Only in Reinforcements, sure. Only against Master Tact, highly doubtful, since it is nearly as good as Master Tact.

I already decided to do that.

And I just played against one on Vassal. That reinforced my opinion.

But one other thing - he could also be brought in against Kazdan.

This makes a whole lotta sense. I like the idea of jolt squads as well. Lots of fun interactions this set.
