(17 activations)

i decided to build using ig-86s instead of the series 2 DD to get more activations without losing the offensive power, and they make the opponent think twice about moving someone to confront sora/ty. 17 activations ensures you can keep pace with most squads. ty and sora handle any melee threats with double-twin and riposte/djem so with twin, and ig-86s hang back to blast anything that confronts them. squad should hold its own against lancer/yobuck and other heavy-melee squads. could struggle agsinst disruptive/super-stealth and mando builds..

Thoughts and suggestions, please and thank you!

Wow, that's a lot of hurt going down! The only suggestion I would offer is to perhaps consider trading 2 of the 86 droids for a DDII. It seems to me that its survivability and heavy beginning-of-round attacks could be worthwhile; its super-shields would also give you more help vs (non-accurate) Mandos. Who knows? Maybe 3x86 is better, but I guess only playtesting would tell for sure.

both options have potential. the DDII is tough to take down, but you're losing 4 activations for it (2 86s, 2 mice).

but i agree, nothing a little playtesting cant fix!

I would personally replace an 86 with Lando. With Mobile and Evade, he will likely outlast the 86s.

Yep, the durability of the 86's is what concerns me most. Without the GGDAC CE, their Def is only 22 in cover, which is not high enough to keep them alive for long. That's why I suggested the DDII. Lando would be a good option, though he's attacking at a +12 rather than the 86's +17. Still, mobile attack is very valuable, and could likely make up for the difference.
