This is another squad I have had a lot of fun with. It has done really well in all the games I've played and taken out some really tough squads.

Cad Bane
Captain Panaka
Xizor
Nautolan Black Sun Vigo
Mas Ameda
R2-D2 Astromech droid
Lobot, Cloud City Liason officer
Juhani
Rodian Diplomat
uggie demo x2

11 activations, 198 pts

Cad Bane is deadly as a Black sun agent. Greater mobile double twin at +14 (or +20 against uiques) for 30 dmg a hit and then swap him out to avoid counter attacks. You have some excellent swapers in this squad, notably Juhani, who can cloak herself (and also do 80 dmg a round at +13 attack btw). The Rodian Diplomat can go places without to much trouble, as long as you keep in mind its limitations. R2 is excellent for not only towing Cad around, but also your swapers. and you have a ton of range for Cad to attack from. The NBSV is also a great person to swap around since it has mobile twin at +15 attack for 30 dmg a hit and also has stealth. Panaka is also great since his BG ability helps Cad a lot when the occasion arises. If you can roll an 11 for init, get some Kel Dors for a good deterant against melee and more swaping potential. This squad has its weaknesses, as do most squads, but it does a good job of getting Cad Bane around the board to do his damage. Don't be afraid to swap Lobot around either. That recon can mean the difference between a dead Cad Bane or a still alive and kicking cad Bane. I used Lobot effectively in one game, where winning inits was huge and i guarded Lobot with my uggies.

Other than the tow, is there a specific reason you went with Republic? A couple other factions could do most of the same thing, so just curious.

I have a Mithrawn varriant also of this squad, but that squad also eats up more points since Thrawn cost 9 more points than Panaka does, and this 9 points can be used to give your squad a ton of mobility in the form of Doombot. Panaka's BG can also help towards the end of the game, as it did in one of my games I played where Panaka literally saved Cad Banes life and ultimately won the game for me. Cad Bane in a Thrawn squad is even more deadly, but 160 dmg is a little overkill most of the times and i'd rather keep Bane safe than do more damage than he already can.

I like the squad. It looks like a lot of fun, and the Cad/Juhani/NBSV will be some annoying pieces to attack. With R2 towing Cad and/or Juhani around, it will have plenty of attack options too.

Personally, I'd probably drop Lobot CLO for some Grans and Brutes. The Grans are +6 for 20 (always good for fodder elimination), and they have stealth, which really helps their utility as swappers. And we all know the value of Brutes in a swap squad. Besides, Xixor will bring in 30pts of Reserves on an 11 anyway...no real need to double that with Lobot, when you have other options available.

Nice job!
