Dean. There is no way that we can thank you for taking the initiative in getting this done for the community. If thiswould have dragged out this game may have died on a national level but with your lead and a great team we have this fabulos set.

On behalf of the Eugene. Play group we tip our hats to the design team and thank you for doing something For us, people who you will most likely never meet but will spend hours enjoying you creations. Thank you for your sacrafices and bearing the burden of the critisism.

Here here! I've known all the stats for a little bit now, but reading through them all in their glorious colored form just got me really excited about them again. I'm really looking forward to my first real tournament with them this weekend (Just have to figure out what I want to play, I'm spoiled for options now!).

EVERYONE involved did an amazing job! Dean, Bill, Ray, Deri, Eric, Dennis, Aaron, Les, EVERYONE. Thank you all. You have kept this game alive, and created something that people all over the world will be able to enjoy. My part in this was small, but it was an honor to have any part in it at all. It can't be said enough what a great job you all did and how thankful this community is for it. I know that for myself as well as others, this is more than just a game. It's the reason I have some of my best friends now. We truly are a community, and this set proves that no matter what, this is a community that can work together and do amazing things. I wish this was Saturday night at GenCon, so we could all raise a glass to the people involved. :D

What you've all done here really is awesome, and words can't describe how excited I am that I'll be able to have a bigger role in the next set.

I can't wait to see all the various squads that people post about now. :)

What a beautiful baby. :)

Give Dean and the entire v-set team a cigar! (or perhaps something a bit healthier)

Fingers crossed that I will be playing DotF in Tile Wars this saturday. That's a squad-building angle I have yet to even consider with the new pieces.

Thanks, and KUDOS!!

Hehe....the Designers did though! I remember discussing it at least a little bit, and I did playtest a couple squads in a Tile War format instead.

I won't reveal what I ran, but there's one archetype in particular that's just plain freakin' brutal on the small 5x14 maps.

Oh, you figured out how to track the downloads? Cool, I thought you had said on the SHHN at one point that you hadn't got that working yet. Or maybe you just said you couldn't track discrete downloads (like, if I download it twice, it will count both).

Still, should be interesting to see how many hits it gets overall. :)

Speaking of which....time for me to add a +1 to that number. :)

I downloaded twice - at home this morning and then again when I got to work.
Forgot to copy it to my SD card before I left. :P

Thanks so much for doing this guys, your efforts have really paid off - the cards and stats look excellent, and I must admit I'm enjoying this set significantly more than the last WotC one!

I'm especially excited by what you've done with the Vong and OR - the V-Set figures will definitely be seeing continuous use at my gaming table! Thanks again for all the effort you guys have put into this, it's been amazing.

Just got back from Christmas vacation. I've known about the stats but seeing the work is great. Have gone through this myself I can truly appreciate the long process involved and I'd like to lend my thanks to everyone who contributed. The cards look great and I know how hard it is to do them unless you're a graphic artist. Thumbs up all around

I would like to personally thank everyone involved in the production of the "Destiny of the Force" booster. I see a lot of fixes and at long long last have some utility for models who spend way too much time in my bins and not enough time fighting on the table top. I see some real thinking here motivated by the survival and enjoyment of this game and not for pointless WOTC/LFL profit. STAR WARS fans always do a better job. ;)

[opens his tackle box and relishes the still new-plastic smell of his "Rebel Storm" minis]

Oh that smell brings me back to Christmas morning 1977.

Once again, thank you everyone!!! :D :D :D

I apologize for asking a stupid question but what is supposed to be printed on the back of the Stat cards?

Do I just leave the back of the stat cards blank?

What was printed on the back of the cards that were distributed by SWMG?

You can print whatever you want to on the backs from the PDF files. The cards printed through the Kickstarter drive had a special SWMGamers.com logo on the backs of them.

Would it be possible to obtain this logo artwork? :?:

Will there be a second run of these cards printed? :?:

1. No. See: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10352&start=0

2. I don't think there's any plan, nor would I think it likely, but if a waiting list of people willing to pony up cash to pay for a print run somehow got long enough it should be possible.

Very good sir, consider me on the list. ;)

How much money would you need exactly to print a second run of DotF???

I have made a point of making players aware in my area, I suspect with a little work, I could make the list longer. Considering how expensive it was to collect boosters in the past, I would have absolutely no problem donating $20 per sheet. I would donate enough for 3 if they were available right now. I wont make this mistake again come the next booster.
