Doogle, please follow the posts as seen around other areas of the forums and provide names for all 10 of the sets that you need. We are in danger of running out of sets, so we want to make sure people are only getting 1 per person. If you want/need extra cards after that, you'll be able to print them off using the PDF from the site here.

Hi,

I don't see a pointman listed for Florida. Our group would like to get a set or 2 if at all possible. We can use PDFs for general play but would like to have an official set or two in hopes of trying some events in the future. We were not in the kickstarter but can donate.

I have no problem becoming pointman for Florida if need be. I used to manage fly tying swaps so not a problem with receiving/sending stuff.

Names for the sets if needed:

superfly - Ken Staples (me)
1 other not on the forums if available - Catherine

Thanks

Ken

I'm curious how this works for those of us who donated, but don't play at a local gaming store and therefore do not personally know any of the pointmen. I'm part of small group of players that just play the game at each others house once or twice a month. I did donate, responded to the email with my address and marked 'No' on being a pointman. I'm in the St. Louis/St. Charles, MO area. If none of the pointmen know me, from where will the cards be mailed. I'm just trying to figure out how this works because I didn't even know about pointmen until I got the email from kickstarter. I just kind of assumed that they would be send out to all those that donated directly.

That's probably the case, but you could pm dvader813 as he's and Dean are the pointman for MO. Odds are though, they are probably just going to mail yours solo to your house. Don't worry, anyone who donated and gave their address will get a set one way or the other. The pointman thing is just a way to avoid spending another $10 per set and having poor Dean have to actually package and mail 500 single boxes.

This is an update for the Northern VA area. I am once again in need of 23 sets per billiv15's recommendation. I have also updated my list on the "Message to the Pointmen!!" thread.

I have gathered address and set numbers together and am posting it here. There are three catagories here where pointmen fall into.
1. You donated via Kickstarter and Dean should have your address becasue you answered the pointman question from teh email.
2. You gave your address to me and I have passed it on to Dean. If you assume that you have done this please double check becasue I have received a hundred PMs over the last week and there is a possibilty that your address got lost. Please don't PM to tell me everythign is fine. Only if there is a problem.
3. I have no idea where your address is coming from. This could mean that I don't know that you donated via Kickstarter and filled out all the questions. However, this could mean that no one has your address and you will not have sets sent to you.

Below is the list. Make sure you check it over. I think Dean and I have the same outlook on this. We are going to do the best we can by everyone. However it is your job as a point man to insure that you are giving us the correct information when we ask.

If there are any problems with the list below please let me know. Like I said before, if everything is great, I don't need a PM telling me that.

You're missing the number of sets for northern CA. It stands at 12 now. (Names in other thread)

I live in san diego california, so the closest pointman to me would be falcon, in orange county. i missed the deadline for the donation, but im more then willing to pay the 20 dollars to get the set. I was wondering how i can go about getting one, and if there are any left to get. Thanks Anthony

Done as of now, no more changes to your requests.

Dean is packing things currently, and every change messes up the entire process. We have to cut it off at somewhere, and the time is now.

I would guess you would have to wait until all the sets have been mailed and hope that there are extra sets (which seems unlikely from the counts) or just wait and print them off from the PDF file at your local Kinkos or copy place or whatever.

Within a few weeks. It should be available before Christmas.

WE had a sealed tourney scheduled for the 18th. My fault I thought I read somewhere the PDF was going to be available on the 15th still. If you think it is going to be after that day we can do something else, but we will still need time to get all the RM's together before the tourney for this. The sooner you nail down a release date for the PDF and could let us know it would be much appreciated.

Well, with Dean already mailing stuff out this week, I should think you will have cards before the 18th. Getting the PDF done is sort of dependent on Les, who unfortunately, is very busy with real life right now. So, hopefully it will happen, but we'll see. ;)
