A friend of mine saw this today; looks like the AAT included might be about the right size for SWM.

And a picture of the board:

Yes, Imperator, over on the WotC board mentioned this not too long ago and had some pictures of the one he bought. pretty much right on for scale.

Eh, I don't think so. I looked at his posts and couldn't find what you are saying. He has a thread for a model kit he bought, but not this game.

It would definitely be great to see this, the Galoob, Transformers, and the model kit compared. The thread on Wizards compares the Galoob and model kit.

I posted something on Bloomilk about this item too. I picked it up as a companion piece for Ultimate Missions books.

Separatist- AAT (Armored Assault Tank); 75 pts.; 150 hit points; DR 10; 16 defense; 10 attack; 30 dmg; Twin; Double Attack; Splash 10; Penetration 10; High Energy Plasma Round (Replaces Turn): 1 single attack with Penetration 20 and Splash 20; Repulsor Lift Engine (Repulsor): Ignores difficult terrain, low cover terrain, and enemy characters-still subject to attacks of opportunity and cannot end move on top of enemies or allies. Rigid; Mounted Weapon; Rapport: This character costs 10 less when in the same squad as a character named OOM-9. :maul:

Editors note; Repulsor Lift Engine for the AAT to be able to go through characters is a no brainer; in "real life", the character would duck down to the ground and the machine would continue on, ie; Qui-Gon and Jar Jar on Naboo when the MTT (Multi Troop Transport) plowed through the forrest of Naboo.

I am not sure that these guys should be able to go over cover with the Repulsor Lift Engine. I would have to go back and look at some of the Clone Wars Episodes, but I think they have to go around stuff.

i would still give it droid also. I know it isnt a droid itself, but they were piloted by froids so i would think it would still have it. just a thought

That game looks interesting.
But it doesn't seem to be available in the UK, at least not yet :(

The game version looks small. The closest in-scale versions are the Transformers (which are about the same as the Galoob Action Fleet) and the Revell model kit. The Transformers/Action Fleet ones are slightly undersized and the Revell kit is slightly oversized, but both fall in the approximate range of the game's scale.

I guess it comes down to easy access. I do remember seeing the Revel kit next to minis which looked very nice. certainly the best detail of any other option. But still yet this one from the game interests me.

I hadn't considered the transformers one though, I always kinda dismissed those as silly, same for the marvel ones. I'll have to look into that one maybe.

The site lists the box dimensions -- 10.5 x 10.5 x 3 -- and also includes another picture in which we can see the tank relative to the box itself. Someone who is better at math than I an should be able to use those things to extrapolate the size of the tank. (I would guess 3-3.5 inches).

Gday all, just adding pics to topic. I been wanting an AAT miniature for a long time now and I finally decided a Transformer AAT would be great scale for me. Last week I brought one and here are pic for you to see incase there are more gamers here wanting to compare scale.
I would say it would be a 4x4 base and there are 2 different coulor variations, Seperatist picutred here and the plain colour version like in episode one movie. Note hatch on top opens for Battle Droid Officer to sit out off, just have to cut base off miniature.
Cheers

If I get my way and we make next summers "Epic" set a set of SWMs vehicles, the AAT is the first one in. This thing is almost perfect! I always envisioned that the AAT would be a 4x4 or 5x5. That looks like a 4x4 to me! Totally marking this thread for possibilities in the future!
