Wow!

Tactics Broker is AMAZING!!!!! Throw away an Ug or Battle Droid (likely brough from Lobot or Wat, respectively) and counter thrawn's big move?

Its better than master tactician. Yet, because it'll cost my opponent a fig, I don't mind so much.

I read that the ability basically sets my opponents roll to 1, so even if I roll a 1, in the "reroll" their initiative check is still set to 1.

I want to find a 20 sider with all 1's on it, so I can hand it to my opponent when I use that ability. :) Evil!

WOW! That is just crazy good! The uses of this are abusive, and will really change San Hill. OMG I am digging out Nute Gunray!

Forget what you knew boys and girls...This is a whole new ball game!...er...Minis game.

"Before Initiative is determined"

Thats the decision not the roll. You can do it up to the decision of who is going first.

Recon and Anticipation will not help. Its should be like trying to alter a UTF. You can do it, but your initiative check (roll) is an auto1 regardless.

This actually really helps San out to some extent.

Sadly, it only applies to the opponent's initiative. Otherwise Nute would actually come out of the box.

Wow, can you say amazing?

It's initiative control for all squads. Definitely going to see play, especially with reinforcements, run a free uggy (via Lobot) into gambit, then sacrifice it next turn to automatically go first.

Nice.

One thing, "before initiative is determined" is a phrase I would like defined. Before rolls are made or decisions are made?

Rolls are made.

EDIT: hm.....I th ink.

When its used makes a big difference to how good it is.

Take the old reserves/recon dilemma of do you chose the 11 when you would lose iniative with an 11 or take your other higher roll so you can go first. Assuming he wants to does the Muun player drop your result to 1 before or after you decide between the 2 recon rolls? What if he's only willing to kill one of his own characters to stop one of those 2 possibilities? If the recon player decides between the 2 rolls first can we then have a sequence where the recon player chooses and then if the Muun player doesn't like the choice he drops it to 1, after which the recon player can then use an ability like Qui-Gon's to reroll the whole thing and pick again?

I have to stop now because my brain is starting to hurt.

How does it counter thrawn's big move? You can still switch, you just may lose init with thrawn, and a B&B squad could also have a broker which will cancel out the two brokers.

Yet another reason to get Lobot, or any other character with Reserves.

If the broker starts showing up all over the place I'm thinking about making a seps Droid squad built around San and Nute. Go ahead and give me a 1 for iniative every round.
