The Owensboro Crew will once again be hosting Coolection this fall on November 6th at 11:00 am. I want to do something a bit different this year. So we will be holding a 200 pt constructed tournament using only the Sith, Mando, Vong and Old Republic factions with the standard map list. Also any V-set pieces previewed from those factions between now and November will be legal to use in the tournament. We will be giving out custom minis of some the V-set pieces to the winner along with other prizes. Entry will be $10. We had a great time last year at the event and hope to see many of the same faces again. If you have any questions please PM me.

THERE WILL BE A NEW V-SET MINIATURE PREVIEWED EXCLUSIVELY AT COOLECTICON! BE THERE TO SEE IT FIRST.

Update: We also have map packs from JediCartographer and Mapmaker donated for prize support.

ALL PREVIEWED FRINGE, MANDO, SITH, OR, and VONG PIECES ARE ALSO LEGAL

So far these previews are legal for the tournament. If Im missing any please let me know.

I don't know what kind of time you have, but you're always welcome to come down to my house, and the ride down with me the next day. That would split it up nicely for you.

I'm about 90% I'll be there. Wife gave the go-ahead, but she will only be 4 weeks out from her due date at that point.

If anyone from Cincy is going I might think about carpooling down with them. I heard a lot of cool stuff about this last year and would love to check it out.

Last year this was an awsome event. I think they had folks form 6 differnt states playing. A fair amount of trading going on as well. Plus the store is just cool. It has something for everyone.

Too bad i have to work :(

Lot of folks I'd like to meet in person. :)

I'm definitely going to try to make it this year, since I couldn't make it last year. Tentatively for now I should be able to be there, hopefully with at least a few other Atlanta guys in tow (I'm sure Graham will come, he's always up for road trips and actually made this one alone last year).

Might give it a whirl--it's about 7 hours from KC, I believe. It'll kinda depend on how work looks around then.

@ jedispyder: I might be up for it. Hard to know this far out, as I'll have to see what other things may be going on that day. But playing in a tournament of just minor factions? Sounds awesome.

Dont know about making it now.

Apparently that is going to be the same day as a local town's annual town fair type thing, and one of our players mom's heads up some of the events/activities. She is wanting us to have some kind fo SWM event there, as they generally do something with Star Wars, including playing a movie per year in their town's movie theater.

Quite annoyed right now.

As I often tell Jim, you don't need a special event to come play at our store... just let us know when you are coming. :)

Well thats sucks. I love having the Carbondale crowd down to play. I wish it didnt conflict but I really dont have an available weekend other than the first one in November.

I was talking to Kristen about it last night, and she said if we are doing a mass battle up here, then she would prefer to go down to O'boro, so we may be going anyway. Dont know about anyone else up here though.
