its the only way to make commanders with range limited CE's get close enough to the action to use their commander effect, without booming voice that is.

But if you have a key non-combat commander in your squad, you'll never want to bring that figure into the battle if you can help it. And if you want a CE to boost commanders, you don't want it helping the beatstick commanders. Consider that CE on the Aqualish boosting Lord Vader, GMLS, GOWK, GMY, etc.

I think a better start might be something like "Allied Commanders costing 20 points or less gain Diplomat". That would help the Rebels most though, but since they already have boardwide Mobile Attack it probably wouldn't be a huge boost.

i dont think it would make them too tough, more like balance the playing feild that is already dominated by non-melee followers.

GOWK with a 30 def in cover with Evade and SSM isn't too tough? Keep in mind, by boosting some of these commanders, you are boosting those that will benefit from those CE's, namely the non-melee followers.

GOWK isn't banned. The latest floor rules change SSM to only work on non-melee attacks.

I will Add my vote for Dathomir Witches and their foes the Nighsisters. The Witches and Nightsisters will need Rancor mounts. Keep in mind the Dathomir Rancors were bigger than Jabba's, much bigger. They were intelligent and wore armor made from scavenged stormtrooper breastplates and armor stripped off of AT-STs (Damage Reduction).

Other ides you might want to think about:
- More vehicles with carrying capacity.
- Barabel
- Squib Trader (much like the Rodian Trader but with shoddy goods and services that may backfire on the buyer)
- Binary Load Lifter (can lift larger models like the ASP-7 does)
- Womprat
- Wild Dewback
- Wild Bantha
- Advozsec
- Bimm
- Coynite Trader (much like the Rodian Trader but he sells body armor +1 to defense)
- Baragwin Engineer (will rig melee weapons to do +20 damage)
- Ho'Din healer (much like the Rodian Trader but he sells medicines that grant Heal 20 or cures for battlefield aliments)
- Revwien Tyia adept
- Ssi-ruuk (entechment anyone?)
- T'landa Til (their love call would dominate all in earshot)
- Ugor (the Swiss-army-knife race of the galaxy that can change its stats from round to round to suit its needs)
Ugors are amorphous so they would treat doors like difficult terrain and would not have to end their turn passing through a door.
- ZeHethbra (hold your breath or be stunned for this round)
- Traders, traders, and more traders
- Black Sun Hutt Vigo
- Black Sun Human Vigo
- Black Sun Klan'thar Vigo

OH i just had another....

A wookie that has a SA of Life debt, after set up chose any character* and this charater (the wookie) gains body guard to this character and gains { i don't know} +2 attack or +10 damage against any character that has targeted this (character*) character.


soory probably doesn't read too easy, but as nobody seems likely to read it, it probably doesn't matter.

It would be great to have a Tusken with Tusken Reserves.

For that matter, it wouldn't be the worst thing to have the same kind of thing for Ewoks, Jawas, Ugnaughts, Black Sun, Rodians, Trandoshans

A Jawa with Droid Reserves would be great too.

Of course these would be very cool on on an appropriate Unique as well.
