I know she hasn't been out long (stats that is) but i have to say there is a great disparity in the sentiments towards her.

Some are aghast at her strength and stats. Throwning 'broken' and overboard around.

Others are 'meh'.

How do you think she fits in?

What the heck? People actually think she's broken? You'll only actually get to use her disruptive for one round. Good luck keeping her alive and in the thick of things for any longer than that.

Cheapest accurate yet? Eh....sure, but again, she doesn't have Mobile, and you're not likely to stick her out there just to use Accurate for a lousy 10 dmg shot. The Correllian Pirates are still better as far as shooters go (+1 base attack and +10 dmg for Advantageous too).

Unique is going to hurt her plenty too. Too many Bounty Hunters out there, and too many CEs that she won't be able to use because of it.

Honestly, Disruptive is the only reason I would play her. And I can think of a couple situations already where I was a point or two short for R2PO, so it's nice to have a different option. In order for the Rebels to be truly competitive they have to have ways to combat B&B, which means Force Defense and/or Disruptive. So, this is nice in that it gives the Rebels different options for anti-B&B. I do think Luke and Yoda, Chewie RH, Juno, and Han Rogue will be VERY annoying for B&B armies.

I voted the middle choice.

i guess broken is not an actual phrase i've heard but some are pretty upset by her. Feel the rebels really didn't need this piece.

I picked the first option. I don't think she's broken by any means, but at 8 points, she's going to be in almost every Rebel squad of mine for the foreseeable future.

I think we'll see her often enough at tournaments for her to be considered meta. Not game changing like Mas, but still something you can expect to see.

I have absolutely no problem claiming Juno is *really* good. I can't claim power creep, but I will claim cornerstone in some armies. If you have no way to deal with melee swarms... BAM use her. Imagine, Melee Swarms have been possible mainly at one point level and that is 100. The only reason? No cheap disruptive... oops gone.

Double disruptive to really screw with opponent placement.

Finally, as a shooter, an accurate one at that, she can put pressure on those gambit holders with impunity unless facing accurate.

I think I would be less concerned with her if she had 20HP or 0 damage or something.

Ah, the built in Draw Fire of the figure. This is a bad thing? Mas has the same thing, or R2-AM. If you *can* shoot these low cost figures, you do. Thus preventing Boba from shooting something more scary statwise.

I will use the piece at times, but I do not think she is a meta changing piece.

Ah, but the first option on the poll says she is a meta piece--not a meta-changing piece. Meta in SWM is defined as what you can expect to face at a tournament (or what you should be prepared to face). And I expect that when people play Rebel squads, they'll throw in Juno--and I think a lot of people will play Rebel squads. Thus making her meta.

With 8 points left in a Rebel squad, will Wicket or Juno be more generally useful?

Probably Wicket, but there's at least an argument for Juno. The accurate will be tough to take advantage of with the low attack but it will come in handy.

The most fun for me will be a new character in my Rebel Luke and The Uniques squad which is designed just to see how many free shots he can get (typically, in a losing effort but Juno will help). :)

For 8 points I think she is nice little package but nothing game breaking as mention numerous times before. I think she will see some play, I know I will use her(not in competative play, but I'm predicting I'll use her her in a decent amout of fun games) So IMO shes a decent figure just nothing to amazing.

She's meh. I don't think she can compete with R2-D2 or Wicket, but I'm sure some squads will find a use for her. Meta? Mabe. That's what I voted, just because disruptive and accurate is nice, even though she can be killed by basically anything in one turn.

She's not as good as Wicket or R2-D2, but she's up there.

Definitely going to see some exploratory play, is she meta? Only time will tell.

Her 40 health for only 8 points is good, she's a decent scrub killer if they make a mistake of ending their turn within LOS, and when she dies you're only 8 points down.

I think it will be tough to make her competetive, too many Accurate shooters. But as pointed out, that's Accurate shooters targeting an 8 pt piece rather than your beatstick, and if your opponent is running CEs she will get targeted.
Of course, if your opponent runs a squad without CEs they nerf your Disruptive :)

I think maybe I should clarify my initial "meh". Juno is a very good piece, no doubt about it. She'll see alot of play. The reason I feel it's pretty "meh" is:

- We all really expected a bit more from her (like Pilot, at least...)

- Rebels already had access to cheap Disruptive. Double Disruptive is nice, but I don't seriously expect to be seeing much of that. It's too much of a point sink IMO when you can just as easily be facing no major CEs. Therefore, again IMO, it's not really handing the Rebels anything new to their bag of tricks

- When you pick out a rare from your Huge booster, you want something good. I've said before that I believe there really shouldn't be as many filler rares in Huge sets (Nien Nunb? Ponda Baba? Nute Gunray? Djas Puhr....?). It sucks to pay so much and get something like that.

- For 8pts of support I'd probably still take Wicket most of the time anyway

I'm not voting because I'd be somewhere between selection 1 and 2. Juno IS a competitive tournament piece, just not a piece that will turn the game on its head like Mas.

Again, my biggest problem with her is that I was hoping for a whole lot more. She isn't a bad piece.

She is good. Very good. On par with Mas Amedda's impact, too early, but I doubt it.

I went with the middle of the road, based on immediate stats however given a few months I believe she may crawl into the rebel meta. Play testing will judge whether she has a top spot in squads.

damn, late to the conversation...well almost everyone has said she is a good piece, nothing game break, and so on. but damn, 8pts for a distruptive, even for 1 round. thats nothing to scoff at. most every squad to date relies heavily on a CE, with her to take that away, even for a short period, very helpful indeed. maybe we'll be getting a rebel rienforcements/reserves giver in this set, then she'd be seeing so much play. only time will tell fellas. this set is unfolding very nicely, i love what im seeing.

Heh....just realized that she'd be a good piece for giving Luke Impulsive Shot. :P
