So for the jedi challenge at gencon i wanted to run something fun and differant, heres what i got so far.

--Cloaked Momentum--
68 Mandalore the Indomitable
27 Lobot
23 Mandalorian Captain
57 Mandalorian Scout x3
12 Gha Nachkt
10 Mouse Droid x5
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 7 R7 Astromech Droid
(Lobot) 10 Mouse Droid x5
(Lobot) 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(200pts. 20 activations)

Now what i really need to know is if 3 scouts will be enough. Lobot/Gha is just a way to try to help setup the Opp on the scouts, i can always just drop gha but i figure with 20 acts i should be able to outact almost anything thats not dodonna, san, or ozzel.

Anyway ill open it up to discussion

20 activations should be enough, but I have a feeling you are going to be facing a good bit of San/ Ozzel/ Dodonna, which will be the issue. if you can wait long enough to user the Scouts, and just pick off their fodder until youve got the activations close enough so they dont have all their main pieces left to go when your done, then you should do fairly well.

Ganner/ Mara might give you some trouble, as might Engineer's Sep squad.

Yobuck/ Lancer will be a pain also.

A Twin Lancer build, or Yobuck with Gen Skywalker will pretty much be an auto-loss for you. The Yobuck build will advance in hiding as much as possible until they can make a deep strike against one of your Scouts and hit it for 60. Then swap out, rinse and repeat.

3 Scouts seems a bit light though. I'm curious....why Indomitable? I find it very tough to get the Scouts and Mouse Droids close enough to make his Momentum worth it. I typically find that Boba Merc Commander is a much better choice, as it gives you the Cunning to complement the Opportunist, plus the Accurate to all your Scouts.

Lobo makes a good point for Boba. The Cunning can help alot, and giving Accurate to the Scouts helps somewhat against the Yobuck builds thatll dominate you, by lowering the number of places your opponent can hide to wait out your activations.

Also, if you switch to Boba, that frees up 11 points, giving you room for more activations, or if you want to drop 4 mouse droids, you can add in another scout. It'll take you down to 17 activations, but the extra firepower would more than likely make up for it.
