So I think ive read through just about everything on this part of the forums. Dont have any SSB yet, but I intend on buying some soon.

Read through the updated rules, .85, looked fairly easy, but I have a feeling I need to read through the official rule book before I'll understand everything. is that so, or are the rules for this updated version completely self-contained, with no dependency on wotc?

Saw something about cards, at some point, becoming available for order/ print. has that happened yet?

I assume no new map has come out, as JC had the thread just awhile ago about a space map.
Also, I know you can buy a generic hex grid map, as ive seen them in our lgs, though I dont know if they are to the correct scale. if I wanted to go with two hex maps, what size should I aim for, and are the rules still suited to that?

Any idea where I can find some of the figs online for fairly cheap for boosters/singles?

I'm still waiting for more playtesting results before making a "final" version. If you have a new name for "Subs" that would be great.

Since it seems part of the game is modded after War at Sea, then Im assuming Sub stands for Submarine...if Im wrong on this, then you might need to give me an example of what kind of ships fit into that classification. Actually, even if it does stand for submarine, you might want to give me an indicator, lol.

I'll see what I can think of.

Scout ship? Patrol craft?

My starter came in, and I just printed off the new rules and stat cards. Going to try to learn how to play this thing tonight so I can give you some feedback, lol.
