This coming Monday, we are doing a Fantastic Four (DD, 4 piece, 200pt version) tourney, and I literally cannot come up with anything I really like.

I was wanting to do OR, Sith, or Mando, but really anything is good.

Stuff Ive come up with:

Mandolore the Indominitable, Boba Merc Comm, Cad Bane, and Mando Trooper.

Uliq Qel Droma, Boba Merc Comm, Cad Bane, and Dash RS

Jabba the Hut, Young Krayt Dragon, Boba Fett, Han Solo GH (just cause they all cost 50, lol)

Im not neccessarily looking to be super competitive, so feel free to shoot me any ideas you can think of.

Thanks!

Lol, I have this same squad in my (spoiler) post above.

This one is in my top 3 probables for the tourney.
I laughed when I got past the core and Dengar popped up. :P
I think this will be very tough to beat.

Just found what Im gonna play, I think, lol.

General Windu, Flobi, Cad Bane, Mas Ameda.

Or should I use Wicket instead of Mas, and just keep everyone close?

If Override is allowed, I think you should bring an R7 with the last 8 points. Don't think you're going to see much Override so it should come in pretty handy.

You won't want to get paired with me then. :P
Note: I have more squads than what I posted above

Thats a goodd point. Hmmmm.

Also, Im not dead set on it yet, Dave, lol.

The Mando squad in my first post still looks enticiing. Accurate shooting Cad Bane w Charging Fire sounds pretty fun to me, :)

 I'm still far from a decision myself.

Two more:

Blizzard 1, WH-AT-ST, AT-ST, Cad Bane (Flanking Attack and DR10 FTW :P )

Kyle Katarn CI, Han GH, Felcor x2 (double disruptive wall of beef, backed by a good accurate shooter)

And on the other thing, I doubt anyone (but me!) would expect to see override show up. Could be very handy.

The fantastic 4 sounds like fun. I've never played one, but a couple of friends and I created a format called the royal rumble that sounds as if you guys would enjoy. Shoot me a pm or emai (ltj411@yahoo.com) if you want me to explain how to play it's a real fun format designed for 3-4 players. We came up with this idea when trying to find a good way for multiple players to play against each other. Like I said I think you guys would really enjoy it espicially if you like the fantastic 4 format.

I'd actually love it if you could write up a thread here for it to share with everyone. We're always looking for people who look outside the box to post new formats, that's the only way Tile Wars/Utini/Dynamic Duo/Terrible Trio/Fantastic Four came about. If you're lucky this could become another thing that joins those ranks ^_^

You know that's probably a better idea. I'm assuming I would post it in the fun section rather than the squad idea section. The royal rumble has really taken off in our little play group. We do it often if were not doing a dci tourny. You know would it be better to post it in the general section.

Just so everyone knows I'll put it under the general section.

So, we played the tourney last night. I wound up using Revan, 2x SHAD, and an Iktotchi Tech Spec (Door Gimmick+ Repair FTW). Went 2-1.

Beat a Bobble-head Vader, SL Palpy, Capt Rex, Kir Kanos and a Krayt, Bane, 2x Genoharadan Assassin squad.

Lost to Gen Windu, Flobi, Mas, Cad Bane :P

Only dmg Revan did in the game I lost was with Force Corruption lol.

That was really fun!

I went with Old Man Han, Kyle CI, Felcor x2. Didn't win a single map roll and lost all 3 matches. :P

1 - Played vs the Krayt, Bane, Geno x2 on Rancor Pit (lol). Disruptive helped, but not that much. Got Bane down to 20.

2 - Played vs the Windu, FlObi, Cad, Mas squad on Muunilist. Horrible map for me. I screwed up and lost Kyle pretty early, or I might have been able to put up a better fight than just killing Cad and Mas.

3 - Played vs GMLS, Ganner, Mara, Blood Carver on the hardboard. Han and the Felcors performed well, almost killing Luke, so I was pleasantly by that.

I have about 15 other squads to try, so I hope we do this again soon.
