Gentlebeings.. It seems to be tradition these days to have a excellent few hours of RPG fun Wednesday night, when most people show up.

Are there any people this year interested in playing and/or GM-ing?

I remember last year that was an awefully large amount of interest.. maybe we could have 2 groups!
Plus it might be good to have a place to play staked out ahead of time that we won't get kick out of!

In the works champ.

Matt and I are working on (or will be) a lvl 20 event for Wed night. You make a lvl 20 character and run it through a particular one session event. Dean has other RPG stuff in the works as well for Wed night. I'm sure we will get around to a more organized announcement sometime soon.

I know that last year the Atlanta crew was staying a little ways out of Indy, so we didn't really get involved in the Wednesday night stuff. But this year we will be in a hotel downtown, and would probably be very interested in playing in an RPG that night.

Nice, sounds like fun. Unfortunately, I most likely won't be there for it this year, but if my plans change, I'll drum up a lvl 20 just in case. :)

Oh, and for what it's worth, I'm currently about halfway through compiling all of the character building data into one Excel document. Right now, if you're building a Soldier7/EliteTrooper5/MartialArtist8 for example, you have to go poring through all the sourcebooks just to be sure you're not missing a Talent or Feat or piece of Equipment you might want for your character...instead, once my Excel compilation is finished, you'll just be able to consult the database, which will point you to the location of all the various abilities. I have space in there for the Talent/Feat/etc descriptions to be written out, but that will take a long time to get through, so I might just leave it blank for now, and fill it in later, once the rest of the information is pulled together. When it's finished, I'll find a way to put it up on the Downloads section (if desired).

Somehow, it seems far less intimidating to build a Level 20 character when you have all the information cleanly organized in front of you. That's why I mention it here and now. Hopefully everybody will have a blast building their Level 20 characters!

Lackey had put together a similar file a while ago, and I know he said recently that he was working to get it updated. Might check with him before you get too deep into it. No sense in people doing double-work.

I will likely throw in with this too, if there's still space. Had fun last year with it, even with having to chase down a table and then move to another one

I believe that my buddy Reuben and I will be there by Wednesday evening, so if there's room, we'd definitely like to play.

considering the replies I would love to see 2 or more sessions being run!

Any other GMs willing to do something if enough people end up there?

If I'm able to come for all of GenCon, I'd be up for GM'ing a session. But I really may not know for sure until shortly before the convention.
