I really like Salacious Crumb... just 100 % perfect to me.

Ysalamari could be a great strategic piece. IMHO the Tame SA looks pretty good but what about some modifications to be less restrictive e.g. just need a squad member to be around instead of an unique allied ? Just a thought.

Sienar Shield Technician - Basically the anti-czerka. Twin and jolt are canceled within 6 (that means your pieces don't get them, and attacks against your pieces inside those 6 squares don't get them).

R2-D2, Galactic Hero - It would be cool to have a range of "Galactic Hero" pieces to go along with the HGH piece we have already. Make him cost like 30 points, give him disruptive, DOUBLE override, all kinds of crazy stuff.

Chewbacca, Galactic Hero - Give him like 250 HP, bodyguard for the Solo family, some kind of bodyguard-draw fire hybrid where he swaps position with a Solo being attacked and takes it for them, Impulsive Momentum/twin/God knows what if any of the Solo kids die.

A Fringe Jacen Solo with not much offensive power but a wide range of esoteric Force Powers would be cool. We already have Aii-Ting flow walking, but I think a version where he takes another character "on a journey through time" where neither one of them can do anything for a turn would be interesting. Force Empathy (Select one savage character within 6; that character may immediately take a turn as if it were on your squad, does not count as being activated). Of course there has to be Mind Rub as well - maybe make a character "forget" that it got activated and letting it go again, or altering the stat card of an enemy piece by removing Force powers.

Nom Anor, Agent Provocateur - Set this piece up after all other pieces are deployed. Deploys in opponent's deployment zone. Adjacent characters are disrupted. Enemy characters may not attack Nom Anor until he makes an attack.

Bastila Shan - Battle Meditation (light) - Costs 2 FP, replaces turn. Choose one of the following benefits for all Jedi in your squad:
1. Jedi allies gain twin
2. Jedi allies gain +4/+4
3. Jedi allies gain evade and mobile attack
This power expires before the first activation of the following round. Note that with this power available I would make Bastila relatively easy to kill and relatively expensive, and probably start her with just 1 or maybe 2 FP to boot; otherwise having disruption-proof <Whorm OR GOWK OR Rieeken> (pick which works best!) would be a bit much. Sadly OR needs THAT MUCH HELP.

Lord Kaan - Battle Meditation (dark) - Costs 2 FP, does NOT replace turn (Dark Side is the easy path and so on). Opponent's CE's are canceled within 12 squares of this character.

Jacen Solo, Learner who Learns - It's probably a good thing I'm not designing pieces, because the the playtesters would get tired of all the pieces from Traitor, which only had like 8 total characters in it. Amphistaff Armor (Gives Evade and Vonduum Crab Armor 6, every successful save against an adjacent piece inflicts 10 damage on that piece), Slave Seed Bond (his Force powers work against Yuuzhan Vong), Blast Bug Bandoleer (Grenades 60 and save 11 for activation - may be used once per game), Yuuzhan Vong Hunter, Loner.

The Ganner - has a Huge base. NONE SHALL PASS (enemy pieces that are in base contact with The Ganner may not leave by any means, including swap or Bulk Loader), One With The Force (may lose 10 Health to gain 2 FP; may use an infinite number of FP per turn), Riposte, Soresu Style, Mettle, Master Speed, True Hero (this character is defeated at the end of every game).

Yuuzhan Vong War Coordinator - Emplacement, Allied Yuuzhan Vong characters may reroll failed attacks

Ewok Hunter - Select one square on your half of the board; mark it down but keep it hidden from your opponent. The first enemy piece to enter that square triggers the trap and takes 20 damage; save 11 for 10 damage.

Wes Janson - Pilot, Affinity Wedge (+4/+4 within 6), Sniper, Twin Attack, Light 'em Up! (counts as blaster barrage; can be used once per game, after which Wes loses Twin Attack), Unofficial Morale Officer (adjacent allies may reroll evade saves)

Lieutenant Kettch - Unique (Wedge Antilles), Yub yub! (I have no idea. But this piece should exist.)

Thanks (and to dreadtech, too). I'll continue to think about ideas presented and post revisions when I have time to make them.

In the interest of full disclosure, the artwork is not mine was taken from various places (Ysalamari from an old WEG book, Duchess and Crumb from online... there is a small sig giving credit to the Duchess, but I don't think the other two had a sig... at least the versions I found online did not). Anyway, I am not an artist and the images are just meant to be placeholders. Sorry if that was not clear. But, the other ideas are mine (or mine and my friend Brian's in the case of Crumb since we worked on him together... his version was a little different).

It might not be worth having in the first set, but some friends and I were doing the Battle of Hoth, and I was thinking where is
Blizzard Scout 2 and 3 and Maybe some Variation on the AT-AT. There is alot from Blizzard Force one could add.

SA: Double Agent - This character cannot be targeted or attacked, and is not subject to commander effects. This character loses the Double Agent special ability once it has attacked an enemy or used a special ability that causes damage to an enemy. (Therefore can receive commander effects again)

I think this would be a fun interesting ability on a 30+ point piece. (So you can't just throw it in any squad for a cheap gambit getter.) It would be a great SA - so the stats couldn't be too great otherwise. Maybe Melee, dbl attack (at most) . . . I'll let you all take it from here. I originally thought Quinlan Vos Infiltrator would have been more interesting in this direction, but I'm sure there are many other double agents that could work.

Alright so here was my first batch of ideas, and now for my second set,

A Clone Trooper with Jet/Rocket Pack, we saw them in Battlefront 1 and 2 and in the various CW's series.

Another thought, change one of the ARF's to a CLone Flametrooper, similiar to the ones in "Landing at Point Rain" FLamethrower 30 or something to make there flame stand apart from all the flame 20.

What about the TLT set that was done a few years ago? Those have already been stated and playtested why not allow them to be in among the first V-set. IT would also give us a reason to use Carth and would provide another set of stats for Nomi Sunrider, we could just alter the sever force ability to match the WOTC version of it. The same for Revan, a useable Revan would be nice, especaily with the Jedi Crusader to leap him to the OR. And if people wanted to use the customs for the set they could or they could use another predesignated designated miniature for it.

Palleon could be Piett, a Voxyn could be a Vornskr, fig's that we have models of could just be used as is, like has been discussed. Just an idea

On the topic on TLT, another similar project (dubbed The New Lost Twenty, oh so creative) has almost all of its stats finished. They would just need to be playtested and then have cards made. The stats themselves are of very high quality, and would probably work very well for VSet purposes.

I'm going to make a comment without even seeing the TNLT stats. Generally, figs like this have too many SA's (few CE's), high attack/defense values and a low cost. There are so many interactions for followers that are not checked out (or even looked at).

With that said, go ahead and post the figs and stats. :Jawa:

Well, then hopefully this will be a surprise for the better! Fyi, these stats were mostly made before DT. Since then, pieces may have been released that can make combos that we didn't know about when making them.

I've actually been thinking of an ability like this on a Yammosk for a while, but with Booming Voice built in as well. I didn't know how it would be worded though. Obviously, giving the Yammosk a commander effect of its own would also be good.

Other ideas (most of which have probably been mentioned before, somewhere):
-Arca Jeth with some sort of revised Force Strike (he takes out Krath war droids with a force power that is given a bit of attention - seems worth a new Force power to me).
-OR Uliq with Synergy for Cay (bringing in Sith Uliq with affinity never seemed 'right' to me anyway...)
-A mid-cost NR Luke (Thrawn trilogy era) with decent stats and SAs so he doesn't have to rely on Force powers and Affinity for Rebel R2s (we don't want R2 astromech towing Kyle around...)
-An Anakin Solo to represent his later 'hero' status (start of Star by Star, for example) with Affinity for Chewie and maybe a way around Force Immunity to represent the lambent crystal (not completely overriding it, though)
-A revanchist (similar to the Jedi Crusader) that gives Mandalorian hunter to followers (I've always felt it was an underused ability)

That's all I can think of right now...
Clearly, I'm on the flavour side for ideas. I figure I'll leave suggestions on game balance to those who know better than I do.
