I have played around with a lot of Momentum Republic builds and it's looking to me like more power is needed. However, it helps having a lot of activations with Panaka.

I would either add Obi-Wan Padawan and call it good, or go for what billiv15 once told me on one of my momentum builds, "straight power" by dropping Panaka your rodian brutes and an ug for Ferus Olin and a Jedi Weapon's Master.

Well, a popular choice is typically to work in Commander Ahsoka somehow, to give Yobuck and Dash Rolling Cleave.

The suggestion of droping Panaka for more power is a very solid one as well. The squad plays completely different that way, but it can still be brutal. With Panaka you do surgical strikes, taking out one or two things per round as you are able, then swapping in the cheap Brute/Gran. With the JWM/Ferus style build, it's better to slowly advance, and then have all your pieces pounce at one time.

More importantly, straight power wins the mirrors.

If you are facing a similar yobuck squad with panaka, and yours includes a JWM instead, you win. Dropping Panaka you would have 53pts left (You don't necessarily need mas in these squads). That's enough for 2 JWMs. It's also enough for Seasee Tinn, Ferus Olin, or any number of other Republic jedi that could benefit from momentum. It's also enough for Zuckuss, which can help keep disruptive out of harms way, or keep your opponent from running out of momentum range. Panaka is a fine choice as well, but there are lots of options.

With what you have, I would either drop something to get a JWM or go with Commander Ashoka. She's quite a solid clean up hitter herself, and lightsaber defense keeps her alive quite well.

A personal favorite combo of mine would be to drop Panaka and go with Commander Ashoka and the Dark Woman. Light Tutor Dash and watch the Dark Woman momentum through a wall or move in and rolling cleave back out. Also consider the new mobile jedi commander guy as an option instead of Ashoka. Rolling cleave tends to be better for use with momentum (as it doesn't take away the end of move requirement), but mobile options with Dark Woman can be worth it as well. Plus against rangy squads, he's a beast with SS.

Thanks guys, I'd do better with Panaka then pure power. I will stick with Obi Padawan.
