Argh...SO I am having dififculty nailing down which Vader I want to use in this squad.

So the base of the squad is this;

Mitthrawnurdo
Palps on Pot (He may be removable for osmethign else but right now he's in)
Kir Kanos
Mas
Uggie Demo x 2

As is the group is at 113 points.

Okay so to round this out I was considering these groups of guys;
Vader LotF, 75 points of extra attack granting mayham, and a decent power attacker in his own right, but lacking jedi hunter
Vader JH, 75 points of Yobuck stopping power and any other activated jedi will have to be warey of his devestating power. A +24 attack for 40 damage 3 times, ouch, followed up by an initive win (most cases) with 90 more damage possible, make all your blocks because this is gonna hurt.
Vader Scourge with Arden Lyn, so a Jedi face messer and melee harser extraordinaire.

So with either of the 75 point vaders I can utilize an additional 12 points, most likely to be either 3 grans, 4 rodian bruts or 2 ewok scouts, again a tough call.

With Arden and Scourge leaves me with 14 points, so again cheap swap fodder either in mass, or a few strong types that can survive a round or two of swapping. My first idea, a Rodain Brutt, a Gran Raider and and Aqulish Assasin,

but IDK hence me asking for help.

I had considered that route originally, which is how Palp got in the squad, using a few hands and Kir and some body guards, it was interesting but got chewed up by ranged attackers

Assuming with Emperor
Vader JH(75): Defense: block, deflect, dark armor and 23 def. Offensively 10 sight ,20-40 damage on the move(and Light saber sweep), and 60-90-120 on the flop. Kanos is 40-60 on the move and swap. 12 pts left with opportunist and fps.

Vader LotF: Pro's(71): Defense: reflect, dark armor, 23 defense, and Djem. Offensively 20 sight, 20-30 move, 60-90 on the flop. Kanos is 40-60 on the move, and 80-120 on the flop. 16 pts left with opportunist, fps, and extra attack.

Vader SotJ(55)&Arden Lyn(18): Defense(Vader): Dark armor, Djem, riposte, and 21 defense. Offensively: move+within 6 40-60-80, same for the flop. Defense(Arden Lyn) DR 10 vs melee, and 17 defense. Offensive: move or flop 20-40. 14 pts left with opportunist and fps.

Well I would pick SotJ & Arden over JH as you get more activation, become less deponent on the flop, and you have a bigger threat range thanks to light saber throw 2. Now SotJ team vs and LotF is not so clear cut. Both can have the same activations but Arden is going to be better than any filler LotF teams picks up. Kanos get a nice boost form LotF making him as damaging as both SotJ and Arden combined. SotJ over all threatens more area thanks to LS Throw 2, and Arden. Tough choice but I go with LotF team as they have the better range defense and more over all damage. For the 16pts left over I pick 4 Grans or Felucian, and 3 rodian, or Raxus Prime trooper, 2 Gran's, and a rodian. If yodabuck/Lancer is common threat switch to SotJ team.

Just IMO/rant

Im a fan of Scourge and Arden cause im used to fighting NR jedi so those two work well vs that.

Honestly if your set on running Palps you may as well run Vader Unleashed. Swap him around for the grip and the throw 5 while kir and arden tie up and kill jedi.

Good news is I am not set on runnign Palpatine, he was jsut an early option for additional force points to allow for some extra movement early on because of the lack of range on the team

I have seen Scourge and Arden used to great effect. You might want to add them in.

I ran a Scourge/Arden/Cad Bane/Thrawn squad last night and I really enjoyed it.
