Ok guys so the the time era is new Jedi Order/Vong War Characters will be the member of the New Republic. You do not have the option of being a Vong unless yo plan on being killed in the first session. Guys what I am going to need is your level 3 character. We are starting with level 3. Just right off the bat I want to say you need to be prepared to look at leveling every couple of sessions. I want our characters to grow. So go ahead and start making your New Republic characters. Once you post your character I will go over it and post in your post whether it is approved or not. |

Dean are we rolling for these characters or are we using the generator system plus 5 (30 total) like we did for Dennis' campagin? |

I say roll them unless some one can give me a huge reason why we should not.... we are only building a level 3.... so should not be too much work. |

The only reason not to is to keep people from cheating but seriously I think we are all trustworthy enough to not cheat in an RPG. Besides you would really only be cheating yourslef out of fun. I think we can all roll with no problem. |

If Dean thinks anybody's numbers are way off the top, then he just has to knock that person's stats down a couple rungs. Funny thing about rolling for characters though....for our Dawn of Defiance group, I rolled for my character, as I didn't realize I was just supposed to use a 28 point build. I ended up with something more like 34 points or so. However, I still get my butt handed to me regularly during our sessions, so it honestly ended up not making much difference. I can't play with you guys, but I look forward to hearing about the campaign. Good luck! |

are we playing errata or no errata? It matter when building your character mainly if your going to be a Jedi or use the force. Jedi with the errata can have the mechanics skill and deflect/Block have to use a force to be used. I dont care which way we go I just want to know what way. |

well I am not much of errata reader. So if I cant find it in the book I am probably not going to care what it says on a website I will not be going to. I am not being a hard ass..... it is just if I paid this much for all these books I am going to use them. You will find I am easy to get along with as a GM. I am not interested in killing your characters. This is not me versus the group. This is you guys growing yours characters. I will throw things at you. If you start to get decmiated I will make adjustments to help you. I am more interested in a good game flow than going back and forth on the web finding out if something is just right. Jonny: this means I dont care if you found something rather minute to further your cause. I am going to say the way things are and that is it. Please do not analyze other players characters. If I have a problem with their character I will address it with them. |

I understand where your coming from and will make my character by thoses rules. spending a force point to bring a force point back to your suit is a reaction like on page 96 right? |
