Six-Six provides three data cards and says "I must be going... before I am missed. You may want to attend to the audience chamber, some slave traders arrived not long ago and they did not seem pleased."

After his final words the Droid departs leaving you alone once again.

Avran says to Nu, "Thank you, I guess I don't remember the arrangement that we had with Switch. I also don't remember anything regarding a price for information. I guess at least your answer pacified the droid, I didn't want to answer the question lest I answer it incorrectly. I guess we could head toward the audience chamber."

Replying back to Avran "Sometimes it is best to go along with what people assume you know. That way we get the information we want. When working undercover, its always good to give other people the impression you know everything they know. Since we aren't going to worry about spending credits for the info, I really don't see a need to pay him. We might as well as share what we decipher with this Switch character. Our captain is working for our employer, so if Switch wants the info, I think he can be trusted. Just make sure in the future to watch your back and what you say. Don't give the opponent anything to use against you."

"Now as for these slave traders, I think we should gather everyone else together and inform them of the situation and meet Darga in the Audience cahmber. You go gather them and tell them what they need to know. Cander is probably already there, but probably has no idea what is going on. I'll go and get him right now and tell him whats going on."

At that, Nuuhatyc goes to find Cander.

Shortly after the heroes enter Darga's audience chamber, which already contains the Hutt and other guests whom you saw the previous day, a delegation from the Iron Ring enters and the slavers are not happy. The delegation consists of three tough-looking Humans, a Rodian with a large blaster rifle, a black-furred Wookiee, and a scarred Zabrak leading two Twi’lek slaves by their collars. As the audience chamber falls silent, it becomes apparent that Darga is less than pleased to see them. Taking up space in the middle of the chamber, the slavers offer everyone in the room, including the Hutt, a hard glare. After Darga spurts out a question in Huttese,
Spoiler: show
“What are you doing here?”

The Zabrak steps forward and spits on the floor before speaking in heavily accented Basic, “The slaves you have been selling us are worthless, Darga! They have been dying before we can even get them to market. They are used up—second-rate! I want my credits back for the last four shipments!”

Darga lets out a low, rumbling laugh that sounds sinister even for the gluttonous Hutt. He rolls his eyes toward the heroes, utters a side remark
Spoiler: show
“See what ungrateful business partners I have?”
and then gives the slavers an angry response, translated by his protocol droid. The crime lord tells them that they have had the same business agreement for years now and that he is not responsible if they don’t know how to take care of their own product. He says that if they do not apologize and leave, he will have no choice but to dispose of them. With an apparent indifference to them being heavily armed.

Trying to look as stoic as possible, Avran thinks to himself: Slavers?!?! I guess one could expect this measure of crime from a Hutt. Never thought that I would have any business relations with a personage who deals in peoples lives. I certainly hope that our cause erases the likes of such vile business practices. Waiting for permission to speak and then stating to the slavers, "Are there perhaps any slaves that currently need medical attention that I may attend to?"

Dorian follows the group to the audience chamber and waits as the situation unfolds. Slavers were not his business, he wouldn't interfere.

After finding Cander in the bar area, Nuuhatyc says "Hey Cander, aparently there are a few slavers that just arrived in the audience chamber and we might need your help in case things get ugly. I'll fill you in on the details when we get back to our quarters, after this is all over."

Nuuhtyc leads the way marching rather quickly to the chamber aftr waiting for Canders response. Sounds like a fight is going to happen soon. Last thing I need is for a dead Hutt to have the Imperial dignitary to cancel his visit. We must take care of this if this mission is going to succeed. Unfortunately, i think this will resort to bloodshed, but when some much is at stake, my idealism means nothing when it could mean the saving of millions of lives.

Giving his nod of acknowledgement, Cander follows Nuuhatyc to Darga's audience chamber at a fast jog. Upon entering the chamber and seeing the slavers and the chained twi'leks, Cander becomes awash with anger and heads towards the front of the crowd to get a better look at these slavers.
I swear. These pieces of dirt say or do one wrong thing and I'll put a blaster bolt in a place to make sure they can't have children.

Cander looks around to find the rest of his companions and makes sure to put himself between them and the slavers. He continues to watch the new comers with absolute malice keeping his hands free and close to his holsters.

The Zabrak scowls first at the Selkath and then back at Darga, "What is this? First you give us merchandise that is worthless then you offer to provide medical attention, and I bet you want to charge me for that too. We don't need medical assistance, we need our credits back!"

the slavers and the Hutt descend into a seemingly fruitless argument about slaves and payments, with neither side budging. After a few minutes Darga turns a disappointed eye on the Heroes as the discussion continues.

The Zabrak suggest that they all have some drinks to facilitate the conversation and a Nemodian enters carrying goblets of wine for Darga and the slavers.

Perception Check DC 27 (please post your roll and then respond)
Spoiler: show
As the servant passes by the slavers the blue Twi'lek surreptitiously drops a powdery substance into the largest goblet that the servant then presents to Darga.

Sorry, read that wrong the first time :P

Dorian gives the slaver group a smile after he spots the Twi'leks actions. Butting into the conversation and stepping before the Nemodian, Dorian begins, "Do you seriously believe an offering of cheap wine would be enough to remove the insult you have placed upon Darga? If you wish to drink to smooth over negotiations, I suggest you drink on your own and enjoy what little merriment there is to have after backing out of your end of the agreement." Dorian takes the goblet from the Nemodian and walks up to the Zabrak. "So, you wish to toast with us. To successful negotiations?" Dorian places the goblet firmly in the Zabrak's hand before pulling out the bottle of Nemodian wine he bought earlier. "This, this is what you present to somebody you are trying to smooth over negotiations with, something of value." He walks up to Darga and offers the bottle to the hutt. In huttese, spoken so only Darga can hear.

Spoiler: show
"This should be more to your liking. I would suggest you have each one of them drink from that goblet before you accept anything from them. The blue one spiked it with something."

After handing the bottle to Darga, Dorian turns again to the Zabrak. In basic, "So, let us drink."

I miss read Jedi_Master's post originally. Below is the corrected response.

Darga says in turn,
Spoiler: show
"We shall see. Servant, bring two more goblets. "
The servant bows and with out saying a word exits the room with the remaining wine goblet and returns shortly with two empty ones. That he brings to Dorian to fill. Once filled, one is presented Dorian and the other to Darga, which he razes but says nothing - waiting for the Zabrak's toast.

The Zabrak leader looks over to his subordinates as he holds the goblet, making eye-contact with each, when it is the blue Twi'lek turn she nods a very slight 'yes'. The leader then turns and faces Darga closing his eyes as though his is trying to picture something or calculate a difficult sum. He then opens his eyes and razes his goblet and says in his thick accented basic, "To our business dealings, may they be profitable to all and short." And he drinks. To which Darga says in huttese,
Spoiler: show
"To business."
then drinks the new wine as he eyes Dorian.

After toast the discussion begins anew. The Zabrak appears more aggressive in the second round, like time is not on his side. Darga on the other hand is holding firm and watching the Iron Ring leader carefully. The longer the negations go the less energy the Zabrak has and the more concerned the Twi'lek looks. Finally Darga razes a hand and says in Huttese,
Spoiler: show
"You are not looking well. It appears that the poison you intend for me is taking it's toll on your body. If you wish to continue doing business with me, I suggest you leave now with the current deal before you die on my floor." Glancing at the blue Twi'lek he adds, "And she stays with me."

Too sick to argue the Zabrak apologizes profusely, stating that he did not know of the poison. Though Darga does not fully believe him he does not act against the slavers, content to have the slave girl. Two guards collect her and escort the Twi'lek from the room. Once she is gone the slavers leave, and Darga declares an end to the day's audience then retires to his personal chambers.

Nuuhatyc see's the events unfolding in front of him as he is finishing up his dinner. Taking a swig of Corellian Ale he thinks to himself.Well at least Dorian didn't perform another weapons demonstration on the slavers. I don't much care for slavers and they got what they deserved for trying to poison Darga. I just hope that twilek slave girl isn't harmed for their actions. Rutian twileks are so beautiful! I'd hate to see her become one of Dargas playthings. Maybe the opportunity will arise for me to free her. I definitely don't want to see her harmed. Especially someone as beautiful as her.

*sigh* Nuuhatyc takes another swig of Corellian Ale. Life sure gets complicated really fast. Here I'm thining about this woman when I have a mission to accomplish. You gotta focus on the task ahead! Concentrate!

After finishing his meal and trying to conjure up the best plan of action for when the Imperial dignitary arrives, Nuuhatyc finds its hard to keep his mind off of the slave girl. Taking the rest of his bottle of Ale to his chambers, Nuuhatyc begins to think of what his life would be like if it wasn't so complicated. After staying awake for hours into the night, he finally goes to sleep.

Dorian nods and gives Darga a smile. "You have at least one reliable partner now."

When Darga heads out, Dorian heads back to his room, waiting for what tomorrow brings.

At 3:00am Dorian and Elanor hear people trying to open their doors. Getting their weapons ready they see the door open and find the barrels of some Quarren assasins seen earlier in Darga's court. A few blaster bolts hit Elanor and she quickly turns her bed over to provide cover from the blaster bolts. Dorian does the same after narrowly missing the intial attack. Skad awakens to the sound of blasters and opens the door of his room to see the Quarren attacking Dorian. Letting out a deafening roar he charges the Quarren and kills it. Ellanor takes a lot more blaster bolts to the chest before finally hitting the quarren with a kill shot that causes the Quarren to literally explode. Meanwhile a drunken Mandalorian feels a sharp pointed object stab into his stomach. Feeling the effects of a paralytic poison starting to take its toll he jumps out of bed to face his attacker, which he notices is the Twilek slave girl seen earlier. She retreats to the door and Nuuhatyc tries to hit her with his stun gloves to no avail, most likely a result of the Correllian Ale he drank earlier. Making his way to Avrans quarters, He seeks help from the Selkath to heal him of his wounds. Skad meanwhile turns his attention to the north and sees a crazed Wookie slave trying to kill him. After being healed, Nuuhatyc attacks the twilek trying to prevent her from attacking Skad. Skad decides to intimidate the Twilek and the girl is so frightened she drops both her daggers and turns her attention to Nuuhatyc. Nuuhatyc then grapples the twilek to the floor. After a lot of rolling around on the floor, much to the amusement of Candor, Nuuhatyc knocks the Twilek girl out. After repeated attempts to intimidate the wookie, he finally decides to try and put the wookie out of its misery. Fortunately a compassionate Elanor rushes forward just in time to fire a stun blast to knock out the wookie and from there the group takes the prisoners to Nuuhatycs quarters for interrogation.
