That is not true. Everyone gained a level early, but everyone is over 6,000XP and thus at the proper level (4) currently.

On the one hand though, it allows our characters to role play rather than roll play. I actually don't mind staying in one level for long, though it still would be nice to perhaps earn another. Our characters probably have progressed since the beginning of the current mission.

The only issue I have with it is I am trying to make a crime lord but am not at the level for it yet. So I am role playing something I plan to be rather than something I currently am. (calling it an ego thing for now but yeah, still blows)

Each chapter is set up for the characters to gain two levels. We are more than half way through the current chapter so the characters have gained a level and are working on the next. When we finish with the palace the characters will gain the second (or there a bouts).

Tree you login tonight but can't post back?

Does that mean the game is dead?

I keep the site pined using Firefox. So anytime the Firefox is used I would think it shows that I was on...

Anyway. I have located a new job and am working 7am to 6pm Monday through Thursday, and 7am to noon on Fridays. I am currently staying with my parents and do not have continual access to the internet (something to do with where they are on the network). I have been trying to figure out a scheduled posting time that would work with my new job. I was thinking that I would try to post on Tuesdays, Fridays and weekends but am too new with my position to know if that will work. Would a ridged posting time work with your schedules?

OK, my new schedule is totally based on my project load and due dates (I am a civil designer). Monday through Thursday are 11+ hour days and Friday varies. So I can post on Friday through Sunday, and I will post on Tuesday or Wednesday to keep the game moving. Is anyone interested, or has everyone move on?

Well, I would still be interested. I know that my brother would probably be as well (obikenobi_1). I could probably be able to convince Kevin (jedi_master) and his wife (forgot her screen name). Then it would be up to the others if they wanted to continue. It has been a loooooong time since we've continued the story. Wouldent mind getting back into it.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind continuing where we left off.

It says no openings, but seeing as the RPG is not continued at the current time, is there any room for more people? :D

Thanks for responding. I did not expect moving to be such a disruption to my life and as a result to the game. Thank you all for your time. It was a great experience, i just hope y'all had a good time along the way.

Please feel free to make suggestions of ways to make the experience better next time I GM a game like this.

Thanks for running the campaign! I had a lot of fun roleplaying my character.

Leveling up on a schedule would be best. I understand at higher levels it being less frequent but under level 10 try to make it a level a month or so.

Also, if you are interested, I am running the other RPG, you can join if you want.

As a player I understand wanting to level-up more often, but since I was tying to make it more about role playing that became difficult. I was handing out XP for the character to character interaction (50 to 100 xp per post, with a loss of 10 xp for not posting in the required time). I felt with the standard xp system for combat and skill challenges, and adding the role play bonus; the characters would gain a level every three months. I was wrong.

This was my fault for not adjusting the combat encounters properly for the size of the party, and I have learned from that mistake. The other part of the short fall was a lack of posting. I thought that the requirement of once every 24 hours would keep the game moving, and that players would post more often, not less.
