Fighting Defensive you will lose your dodge bonus if your unaware of the attack or flat footed.

we made a house rule that its a standard and you can attack so I will be sticking to the book about Fighting Defensive being a dodge bonus.

House rule
Fighting Defensive should be a standard action without attacking( you can attack at a -5 for +2 def/+5 if you have acrobats. +5/10 if you dont atttack.

FD is on page 152 core.

Oh, I thought he was asking about gear that we buy at Star Forge.

In a way I was. I added desired weapon before leaving the station with Jonny's approvial but because of the possible confusion (with everything that was going on at the time) I wanted to ask again.

If we're following our normal pattern it'll be this Sunday night at 8:00 CST. But I'll wait for someone else, who is "in the know," to confirm.

yeah, that would be this Sunday.

I'm still waiting on what I can and can not do to my lightsaber.

I'm still confused on what constitutes an "add".

we are playing at 8 central

@brad everything that you did was fine other than the whole swift action to switch crystals.

Except for the fact that I missed that a Shoto does only 2d4 damage, a hit I can't afford to take. So I need to redo my lightsaber entirely.

Brian's character has a dual phase, but his is only to switch lengths...

I am not going to be able to play this Sunday. I got a test coming up that I need to study a lot for. If some one wants to play my character again, that would be great. I'm still working on a minion to choose for my Crimelord. The minion I'm thinking of using is a force user, but not a force user in the sense as every other jedi. I will not be having block or deflect on this character, so he can actually be hit and killed. He's kinda different and will be fun to play. I'll post his stats when I'm finished up with his stats and feats.

Pretty sure there was a "no more force user" rule in place after the 3rd Jedi was built.

yep, not more force users, unless you make a really good case for it. That is the rule. Remember, we are in the Dark Times.

Spoiler Warning
Spoiler: show
This campaign is three parts maybe four(third part is not in the unknown regions)

With minions they have to be plug in play(simple). Turns are still going to be max 1-2 mins for each player even if they have minions.
I have nothing against minions or force users(dark times) and I just want to keep the game moving. I will be using new ideas for the battles to keep the game moving.

The storyline with a Force user minon will have to be really good for me to say yes but it could happen.

Ok. I kinda figured another force user would be a little to much, so I came up with another fun character to use. He plays very differently than every character in the campaign so far, but he is simple to use. His stats are going to be posted soon. I was a surprised as everyone else is going to be at how good this species is at what it does. I think I can safely say that probably no one has ever made a character out of this species before. I'll post his stats in the character sheet section with an interesting back story of how he came into the employ of Tal Nova and his connection with the Tal Nova family.

I am going to say no to a the species you want to be. There are too many red flags that go up in my head being a beast species.

Pretty sure Creatures are not usable as Player Races.

No way.

Also the Savrip is already CL 6. Which means a 6th level minion can't be a Savrip.

Consider Cel Steel done.

Every week, EVERY WEEK it's the same story.

We are not awarded for creative thinking, only punished, everytime we do something good Jonny counters it because he thinks he can. No one has any idea what they can or cannot do and it's gotten ridiculous. I let it go each week thinking there's a learning curve, but no it's not changing.

It's Jonny's superpowered characters vs our nerfed Super powered characters. It's stopped being fun.

I was actually starting to enjoy the challenge tonight, but things started to not add up and I realized it was more of the same.

I realize there has been some confusion on both sides about certain rules or what not but seriously c'mon.

I even made an effort to make sure I agreed with Jonny's side of things a little more tonight, but it was all capitulation on my side...

Sorry if I ruined anyone else's fun, but I should have quit last week or even a few weeks before...

Actually the Mantellian Savrip is a playable species as Heroic class. Check out Threats of the Galaxy pg. 117. It clearly says that unlike many other beasts, the Mantellian Savrip can be played as heroes, since they are a sentient species. I'm just going by what the book says, and I though it would be cool to have one since I've never seen one played and it would be easy to fit him into my backstory. I'll also change the minions level. I thought you bring it up to 3/4 heroic level, not class level. Guess I misread it.... :o
