I actually got a free Imperial Sentinel the other day, so here's an attempt to build a squad for it :P


51 Imperial Sentinel
32 Thrawn (Miith'raw'nuruodo)
20 Imperial Security Officer
14 Imperial Officer
13 Kel Dor Bounty Hunter
8 Mas Amedda
6 Rodian Brute x2
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(150pts. 10 activations)


Basically trying to give the Sentinel a free attack with Opportunist, or maybe the other two attackers if need be.

ISO seemed like a decent backup shooter, and the Kel Dor is always great fun to play with :)

Might I suggest a Swoop Bike for Swapping the Sentinel into position and another Brute for anther activation instead of the Kel Dor.

I think the Opportunist Sentinel is tough to pull off in 150 even with Oz and 11 activations.

Tint had a 200 pt version of this squad that was really crazy good except against disruptive.

I made used the same concept but sized it down to 150.

Massiff 10 (this is my big beat replacing Sentinal-stop laughing)
Stormtrooper Commander 15 (gives +10 Damage)
Amanamin Scout 13 (swapper instead of Swoop)
181st Imperial Pilot 12 Points (secondary attacker-has Twin)
Imperial Officer 14 x 2
Ozzel 11
Rodian Brute3 x 2 (Swapper)
Imperial Dignitary 5 (Swapper)
Mynock 5 (Flying Swapper can be switched out for Camaasi or Raxus Prime)
Gran Raider 4 (Swapper)
Ugnaught 3 x2 (Auto include)

16 Activations

You can pull out 3 of the Swappers to add in another Imperial Officer but can be risky with such fragile units. Massiff can pull off 120 Damage at +13 at the end of a round with Opportunist,
the Stormtrooper Commander and the 2 Imperial Officers or 181st can do 180 damage at +11 with the same boosters.

The sentinel is a beast, and the abilty to swap him into place and then grant a free attack is huge. He can be mean and nasty, I like the concept. BUt agree addign in a 10 point gang swoop is your best bet to make it work consistently.

I debated with myself about adding the Swoop, and decided to use the Kel Dor in case I needed the SD40.

But I guess it wouldn't be too urgent...

Maybe another Rodian Brute and a Swoop instead of the Kel Dor?
