Post subject:  Beefy Chargers
Wanted to play a Chewie-PO squad for once, so I ended up with this:


31 Chewbacca with C-3PO
25 Han Solo in Stormtrooper Armor
23 Jarael
11 Ithorian Commander
9 R2-D2 with Extended Sensor
8 Juno Eclipse
8 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Spirit
8 Wicket
14 Aqualish Assassin x2
6 Ewok Scout
4 Gran Raider
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(150pts. 13 activations)


The scattering of melee pieces is to deal with possible GOWK opponents.

Chewie-PO is a decent attacker against all those pieces that rely on Djem-So as a form of anti-melee defense.


Thoughts?

Chew-PO is a so so piece so its hard to build around him.

Garm can help him as he can move and get his double off, if thats something you're interested in doing,. then maybe adding Bossk BH who can also double + momentum with Garm.

Jareal and the Ithor commander are good back ups but if you run Garm, i wouldn't run han. I also don't think the Obi FS should be in as ( i assume he'll be haunting Jareal) he won't be able to keep up to her.

Since Chewie has Cleave to go with his Charging Momentum, he has earned his keep in the four matches where I've won with him so far :)

And Draw Fire is useful in a pinch...

As for haunting Jarael; yes, he is slow, but then again, Jarael isn't in the front of my charge.
