--Vong at Full Force--
27 Lobot
52 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian x2
25 Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight
23 General Wedge Antilles
22 Corellian Security Officer

preferred reinforcements:
(Lobot) 8 r4 Astromech Droid
(Lobot) 6 Mouse Droid x2
(Lobot) 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(149 Points. 11 activations)

Corellian Officer boosts Vong on peices that have gone (60 damage on jedi). Decent defense combined with Evade and RR's from leia allow the Vong to stay alive until they get up close and personal. (the occiaonal non-fp rr for razor bug isn't bad either.) The vong with "It's a Trap" allow for some Stealth needed CE"s to be negated.

In my opinion Leia is a waste in this squad, I think you can accomplish more through other means.
Look at this 100 point squad:
Squad #2:
YVOGuardians X2=52.
Garm Bel Iblis=45.
Uggie=3.

Reinforcements:
Ithorian Commander=11.
ERCommando=16 or a Bothan Noble=17 depending on the opponent's squad.
2x Wookie Rebel, and a Mon cal tech spec.

Adding Leia to this doesn't add much but you could fill it out with Dodonna Lobot CLO and another Ossos Guardian for 150. Sure the Re-rolls and evade aren't there, but the Ithorian's +4/10 to those Guardians is killer. And you add a third Guardian threat, and the wookies are no slouch either with their abilities your opponents have to watch their scrubs. It's weakness is a lack of ranged support.

I agree with Luke on this one. Don't underestimate Garm and the Ithorian. I've played the 100 point squad he mentioned with great success. Adding another Ossus in can really up the damage output.

I don't full heartily agree, once someone has my vong based they are in for some trouble. You have 11 acts and some different tech that works around anti-force and such. The crab armor makes it so characters like dash or wedge wont do much (except with opportunist). even still you have evade and crab armor.

Given I could drop leia for another Vong character

I think the idea has merit, although by including the Corsec you have increased yoru damage, but I have to agree the Ithorian Commander is a huge asset for the Gaurdians. I have a number of these style builds on blommilk.

I can deifnatly see how Garm is an asset with the commander, here were revisions I made.

--Running Reinforcements--
45 Garm Bel Iblis
27 Lobot
52 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian x2
23 General Wedge Antilles
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Garm Bel Iblis) 15 Rebel Marksman
(Garm Bel Iblis) 11 Ithorian Commander
(Garm Bel Iblis) 4 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist
(Lobot) 8 R4 Astromech Droid
(Lobot) 6 Mouse Droid x2
(Lobot) 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(150pts. 14 activations)

The Marksman synergizes with the Moncalamari as far as combining fire goes. A +10 accurate shooter is rather nice with evade/mobile attack. Helps keep stealth guys away.

I think this is my favorite Vong NR build:

Garm 45
Ossus x2 52
Jarael 23
General Dodonna 9
3xMice 9
4xUgos 12
150

12 activations

Reinforcements:

Ithorian Commander 11
Bothan Noble 17

Haven't decided a map on it though. Jarael has nice synergy with Garm and the Ithor. If ya need override bring in that ERC.

I like your build Kaz, looks very promising. Tell us how it works out.

At two hundred I would recommend no Wedge, But Jaina and StormArmor Han, with Jareal. And Garms reinforcements stay with the Ithorian, the other points should go to more melee fighters, one of my favs is the RS Wookie soldier, for 7 points he's a got 30 hp and with the Ithorian and Storm Han can actually deal some damage.

--Vong at Full Force--
45 Garm Bel Iblis
38 Kol Skywalker
78 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian x3
23 General Wedge Antilles
9 General Dodonna
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Garm Bel Iblis) 11 Ithorian Commander
(Garm Bel Iblis) 11 Rebel Vanguard
(Garm Bel Iblis) 8 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist x2

(199pts. 13 activations)

This obviously Bumps it up to 200, but I kept wedge in this build just for Kol and the Razorbug Sake. I have 2 uggies so that is a little fragile, but Kol followed by Vong can be very intimidating :) The Itho Commander is needed, along with teh Rebel Vanguard and the Techs for droid jolt or anything else that might need a combine fire.
