Activated or not, here I come :D

32 Thrawn (Miith'raw'nuruodo)
23 Jarael
21 Genoharadan Assassin
18 Moff Nyna Calixte
17 Storm Commando
13 Czerka Scientist
8 Mas Amedda
8 Wicket
4 Gran Raider
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(150pts. 11 activations)

The original variant used Dannik Jerriko instead of Jarael, and was otherwise identical to this squad.

All the shooters having SS/Cloak and Twin/Cunning/Opportunist was very fun, too :D

An opposing player who focused on taking Jarael out with his Commando Luke at the start of a round wound up eating four +10/40 shots from my Storm Commando :P

Thoughts?

Just one play style comment. Frequently when setting up late round strikes with a similar squad I would find that wicket would die, 20 hp, big surprise. It seems to me though that by putting wicket into position where traps works and keeping Jarael nearby you are almost setting up a trap so that when they base to kill wicket they have exposed themselves to a triple from Jareal.

I generally play like that :)

Killing my teddy? Take this, WHACK!

LOL it seems to work most of the time.

With regards to the Geno, subbing it out for a TBSV/Uggie is also doable. Just not really my style to rely so heavily on shooters :)

Well, the Geno is a solid shooter as well, especially if you're trying to get Twin from the Czerka (Twin doesn't work when the Geno is adjacent to the target). Plus, the TBSV will grant Greater Mobile to Jarael, which I believe is the main reason he suggested that switch.

Hit the nail on the head aaron, as usual. You don't lose a lot of power when switching from Geno to TBSV, especially if you are getting that opportunist/twin. And the Commander effect is great for Jareal Nothing like running up 10 squares and hitting a triple attack.

Hmm... Need to get some more thought into this one...

TBSV does have Jolt, too, doesn't it? A backup stunner to further exploit Thrawn's CE :)

Yeah TBSV has the jolt, and also with the jolt + twin, if you do jolt on the first shot, you get Opportunist 20 on the second shot.
