--Swap Shop--
24 Qui-Gon Jinn, Jedi Trainer
24 Roron Corobb
23 Captain Panaka
22 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padawan
21 The Dark Woman
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
8 Mas Amedda
10 Youngling x2
3 Mouse Droid
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
(150pts. 12 activations)

New variant of my 'Jedi Swapping' squad I'd made a while back (see the old squad here: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squads/View.aspx?ID=28462). Not really sure which one is better, but I like the versatile options this one grants me. Not having any JWM may hurt a little, because their versatility makes them worth-while. But they really couldn't benefit from much of what I was going for here. So I figured Obi-Padawan was a better piece instead of a JWM in this case. Obi still has Assault, so he's the one that will oftentimes be towed up by R2, then move 6 and hit something twice. If you can get Ataru style in play as well, that puts Obi at a +18 attack! Obi has no defense though, lol, so you'll have to quickly swap in something else. Both Roron and Qui-Gon are fairly solid pieces, and if you use The Dark Woman's Light Tutor on Roron, then he can do Repulse, and still have a couple FPs for Deflects. Or you can give Light Tutor to Panaka for re-rolling that key Opportunist shot.

The key with this squad would be to just spread the damage out as best as you can amongst the various pieces. Might need to put Caamasi or Grans in the squad instead of the Younglings as well. If you want to turn this into a 200 point squad, just have to drop 5 points and add GM Yoda. :D

Good looking squad. I actually play tested a 200 point variant that had Dash, DW, GM Yoda, Panaka and there was something else but I forgot  My opponent played a NR squad with Kyle JBM and I didn't do to hot, but yet I did play a map I was fairly unfamiliar with. The bane to this squad certainly is disruptive.

I know your going for Jedi but the younglings have small bases so you cant swap I would drop both younglings and obi for Dash gran. I understand the point of the squad just that you can light tutor dash so he is a 10/14 and you get an extra swapper from it. If you dont want to do that I like the squad how is right now.

Yeah, I think I built this before the Dash + Qui Gon thing had been mentioned elsewhere, so I hadn't thought about that. I know the Younglings are on small bases, so I'd thought about switching out one or both of them for a Caamasi or Gran anyways. They were in there more to fit the theme and benefit from QG's CE.

The Dash option is probably better though.

I never actually thought about the Dash + Qui-gon thing, very clever. I like it.
