Wow... I should read these boards more often. great minds think alike. I build this exact squad earlier... I'll link that thread to this. I also popped some critique of my own squad in my thread, which I'll re-post here:
his squad pops 80 push damage in 1 round, with Leia to supply Force Sense to get around stealth if needed, and a +8 for 20 regardless, for a possible 100 damage a round. Not the highest ever, but of the three builds I'm presenting today, the highest. However, it has REALLY low activations and no counters (other than FS), limited door control, no real way to counter alot of squads. SO, Mk2:
Push It, Mk2 48 Vader's Apprentice, Redeemed 36 Yoda of Dagobah 14 General Rieekan 14 Princess Leia of Cloud City 13 Wedge Antilles, Red Two 9 General Dodonna 8 Juno Eclipse 8 R2-D2 149 pts, 6 activations
This version features a weak accurate shot, Disruptive, Door Control, Activation Control, a high-def centerpiece, force sense, and a decent backup shooter. However, lack of HP is a problem, and the droid strafe, although disrupted, would still cave through this rather quick (as well as any YoBuck variant) so I edged toward Luke again:
Push It, Mk3 48 Vader's Apprentice, Redeemed 36 Yoda of Dagobah 27 Luke Skywalker, Rebel Commando 14 General Rieekan 14 Princess Leia of Cloud City 8 R2-D2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist 150 pts, 7 activations
This gives me a piece I can stick up front to take melee hits, but re-invites a low activation problem. Another option I considered was losing the Apprentice altogether and taking HPU back, but that makes my centerpiece alot weaker than the apprentice. 22 def is rather appealing...
