it could

remember when Facing SS the idea is to eliminate/nutralize the Commander granting the SS
or
make your movements such that the SS cannot get shots on you

Typically the SS squads are a "sit back and shoot" play style
with your suggested squad, you have to play more agressive;
those 2 elements combined can be quite grusome for you...

I would suggest dropping a nexu for a rackgoul if possible and see if some how you can squeeze in a Dark helion swoop bike
the 24 squaremovement to allow you to swap in Exar Kun against the Commander or another key attacker is just too easy to miss out on

Umm, his entire squad is melee. The worst thing for him to do would be to go after the commander.

Your second advice is better :) Stay out of los until you can get close, preferable after his clones have moved as much as possible, and where you will both take minimal damage, and can get Exar in there early.

The most common mistake people make with Exar is not getting him into the battle at the right time. As soon as your savages are attacking, your Exar needs to be there doing his things as well.

I recognize what you are saying Bill-

I was merely making a generalization about dealing with SS

Which is why I suggested the Dark Hellion Swoop to accomplish that

But in this case, with the rest of the squad being Melee pieces (Raks or Nexus) then it makes no difference whether the opponents have Super Stealth or not. In general, the Republic Commandos are more dangerous than Cmdr Bacara, Storm Commandos are more dangerous than Moff Nyna, and most Stealth pieces are more dangerous than Nom Anor, in terms of damage output. If you have a squad of shooters, then definitely, have to eliminate the SS in order to do good damage. But when your whole squad is melee pieces anyways, then it'd be best to go after the main force, and leave the commander till later (might not necessarily be the case against a Nom swarm, as the bombs would tear apart the weak Savage pieces).

I would definitely work in Rakghouls if you are expecting to see Super Stealth pieces. Most pieces in SS squads have relatively low HP, so a Rak or two could really hose up your opponent's squad with a well-timed Ambush/Momentum/Triple. If it's a SS squad with beefier opponents (maybe Nom with something big like a Felucian Rancor), then it might be better to go after the Commanders first, or use Exar to take on the big opponent.
