Luke Skywalker, Champion of the Force 49 pts.
Obi-wan Kenobi, Unleashed 44 pts.
Princess Leia 20 pts.
C-3PO and R2-D2 18 pts.
General Dodonna 9 pts.
Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 9 pts.

149 pts. total, 8 activations. Dodonna helps with this.

Basically, Luke gets to use "Use the Force" twice per turn, allowing him to get 4 attacks off. With Leia, he can do this again, for 260 damage. Granted this costs 12 force points but if Obi-Wan dies he gives you 8, so it's not a big deal. I was thinking this squad might be a nice response to Loda squads because disruptive really cuts down his power output. I know that I will never be able to use "Use the Force" around him, but attacking regularly with melee figures should allow me to kill him.

I thought this might be a good squad, and map choice is very important. I would recommend a map with doors and plenty of walls. ( any melee-favored map really. )

As for the squad title, I did a paper on the monomyth (which just so happened to greatly inspire Lucas on the script of Star Wars) and I thought it would be a cool squad title considering the figures in it.

Comments are welcome.

wow. depending on the squad your up against, this could be terrifying or laughable. Obi + Luke, COtF is a good combo for the reasons you stated, but when you kill off Obi, pretty much all fire will converge upon Luke. Imagine Mando Scouts, Lukes super duper Use the Force x2 attack wont be that effective, since they only have 50 HP, then all the other scouts will shoot, bla bla bla. However, if your up against Bane/Vader this would be pretty deadly to say the least. I think the effectiveness all depends on the oppsoing squad

Maybe it is just me, but whenever I play Use the Force I take the Chag Merc Commander with me. 60 auto dmg is pretty nice. It won me a tournament a few month ago. :)

Why Obi Unleashed? You can do just as much, and more with Obi Rs in this build, plus you get a couple more ugos to get the activations a little higher (they are needed for more than just activating anyways, opening doors, collecting gambit, blocking paths, etc.)

I was thinking that Obi-Wan's upgraded base stats (attack, defense, HP,) and repulse/push with renewal could be helpful in some situations. Better stats are still an important point. Repulse adds some swarm control. Push allows Obi to escape an unfriendly melee encounter with a big beat or allows him to shove a character to Luke so he can double attack.

2 uggs are definetly an option. Great point Bill.

EDIT: I played this squad last night, and I faced a stormie/imperial knight squad on the death star map. Obi-Wan engaged the knights by himself on The Tractor Beam Chamber, and luke and the rest of the squad moved to the bottom of the map, near the Maintenance Station to kill some stormies and to use disruptive. Obi-Wan got to use push to try to kill antes draco, and later used repulse for 30 damage on everyone, which was quite fun. The knights he had were lined up, so they all took 30 dam. I won the game, after I killed off the stormies, I moved my other forces to flank the knights on the other side of The Tractor Beam Chamber. And by this time, it was over.
