If i do have him in time I was thinking of trying him out in this squad.

Yay for the copy/paste box on bloomilk.

--Boba, Mandalore--
57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
46 Mandalorian Supercommando x2
34 Mandalorian Gunslinger x2
12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4
(149pts. 9 activations)

I just received him myself and have been tinkering with multiple builds. The one that I like the most at the moment is this:

--Competitive Mandos?--
57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
48 Canderous Ordo
27 Lobot
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
9 Ewok x3
(150pts. 9+ activations)

Need a name for it, but I think it could do very well. Bring in an MTB and Boba/Canderous can unleash hell. Think of Canderous as more of an interference fighter that could get into base when needed. 120 HP is awesome and with a +17 for 30 x2 shooting Boba is in the distance this squad could be a toughie to take down. (I almost think of it like a San Hill squad that uses the MTB instead of San, Boba takes Boba's place and Canderous takes Aurra JH. Instead of always attacking last though, you attack first)

I myself think of Boba Fett as more of a sleeper piece, I believe that he will be far more useful once the KotOR set is released. I think we got about 3 pieces in this set that fall into that category, Canderous, Fett, and Sunrider. I somehow believe that we will find uses for all of them very soon.

I don't think Boba is a sleeper that needs to wait until Kotor. From what I hear from K-zoo, the Mando squads I built for my friend Lou are working very well so far against the current meta. Boba has penetration which makes him a beast against the speeder and other DR figs. Accurate grunts without wasting points on a commander is just plain beastly, especially when those grunts are pounding out 30 dmg shots, or double accurate cunning deadeyes. Ordo I am not impressed with so far, at least not in competitive squads. He is great fun with Uliq as a massive BG, but that's about where his utility ends for me. Nomi, you are quite right in your assessment, the potencial is great with her, its just a matter of time.

I should also add a very important point, Boba and the Mandos is the Vong JH counter. We will see them played and likely played well at Gencon. They can compete with the meta quite well.

I really need to play these Mando squads. I am not overly convinced right now. Hopefully that isn't a biased opinion, but I will say they are definately borderline right now.
