--Maul Tactics Broker--
53 Darth Maul, Champion of the Sith
36 Darth Sidious
27 Lobot
15 Ugnaught Boss
10 San Hill
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
(150pts. 8+ activations)

Bring MTB and 4 Ugs with Lobot. Outactivate and move Maul adjacent to enemy at the end of a round. Win init and Sith Rage Quad for 120 damage. Rinse and repeat. Sidious can Pawn Ugnaughts into little missiles that move 12 then explode for 10 damage.

I don't think that using Ugnaught missiles is such a great Idea, simply because that would reduce the number of rounds that you get to use your initiative control. I would rather suggest that you use the MTB to detonate one at the begining of the round.

I agree with Luke.

There is also a possibility(and Id say thats its probably a good possibility) that you will face Han, GH in a tourney. Then what would you bring in with your reinfocements? Nothing thats going to help this out too much, Id wager. Lando, DS might be your best choice since you are packing San.

You absolutely need Wicket in here, that extra 20% chance of hitting can be game-changing.

Can Sidious Pawn Darth Maul?

The extra 20% hit chance is nice, but not what wicket will do. Wicket will take one shot that Maul doesn't. Opponents will target wicket first, and they will find a way to do it.

Seems fun, but you need some power other then Maul I think, since againsts a Han or Boba squad they're going to just pick Maul off before he can get in base.

If they don't then Maul can hit them more consistently and if they do that's one turn of pressure off of Maul (and maybe an AoO) for only 8 points, I think he's worth it.

Nope. Pawn is only on non-uniques. Wicket really is needed to take down JWMs or anything else.

Anyway, I think the squad is pretty sweet. Not overly powerful, but it could do alright. Maul as the only beat is kinda scary, but again, as a fun squad, why not.

I like it Shinja.

Definitely fit Wicket in there. He will help loads against melee heavy squads.

This may be a no-brainer, but if you still had a MTB in ur squad against NTMTO, do you still sac a character every turn for no benefit, or his entire effect negated?

I was just wondering, because if the entire effect is negated, you could still bring it in, and it would kick in if/when Han dies.

Does that make any sense whatsoever?

You are correct, and I have attempted to do just that :)

So Han, GH would be able to negate the MTB?

But, with San, you would still have a tempo controller in the squad.

Kinda cool.
