I played against this squad this weekend and it really surprised me how playable it actually was:
Garm 45 (Reinforcements: 29 Points used on Twi'lek Rebel Agent x2, Ithorian Commander) Nym 48 Leia HC 19 Twi'lek Rebel Agent 9 Weequay Merc x 7 149 Points He won map choice and his map was Cloud City. Very bad decision with absolutely no door control. I've got to say the 4 point zombie Weequays moving 3 squares to double attack at +9 for 20 dam was pretty sick, but I only let him do it once and I forgot my disruptive character was within six so it shouldn't have happened. Nonetheless, it got me thinking it was worth tinkering with.
He tried to use the use the Twi'leks to Spot for Garm, but again, I saw it from a mile away and never let him get it off. In 150 a squad really has only room to focus on one thing. Twi'leks are really never the best Spotter option.
So this is the optimized version I would have played, still not really exceptional, but it fixes some major flaws in the original design:
Garm 45 (Reinforcements: New Republic Scout 13, Elite Rebel Commando 16) Nym 48 Leia HC 19 Ithorian Commander Weequay Merc x 6 Ugnaught Demo 150 Points
The Ithorian is essential to the squad so he belongs in the base build. It also leaves Garm's reinforcments to adapt to any squad it may face.
