First: Republic
Cade and a Little Lovin'
Cade Skywalker-61
Depa Billba-29
R2-D2 Astromech Droid-9
Lando Dashing Scoundrel-18
Lobot-27
2 Ugnaughts-6
=150

Depa for Sense and a decent melee piece. Her Sense gives Cade and Lando free reign over anyone with Stealth, save for Vong. This squad has done good so far, but the 1 thing that keeps coming to mind...JHs...

Second: Rebels
Mavericks
Han Solo, Scoundrel: 46
Princess Leia: 20
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Spirit: 8
Luke Skywalker, Hoth Pilot Unleashed: 28
General Dodonna: 9
C3PO and R2-D2: 18
Deena Shan: 12
Ugnaught Demolitionist x3: 9
=150

Dodonna makes it so activations aren't a problem, Han can do a lot of damage just like any other Han Turret build. Luke is back-up for Han, while R2 give me distruptive and override.

These are two of many of possible incarnations of various squads to come. Thoughts?

I still dont think the first team with Cade can hold up at Gencon if you lose R2 to an accurate shooter then cade is a sitting duck and half the time will only get a twin off.

Out of those 2 i think the Maverick team is your best bet though both teams wil have problems with Vong.

JHs can tear through Han luke and Leia unless han can hit them and do enough damage early on to weaken them enough.

For my money, The second one is probably the better bet, but seriously R2-P0 has got to go. I'd Drop him and Deena for Chewy Rebel Hero. That way I know you lose disruptive, but honestly that disruptive wasn't going to do you much good. Chewbacca will at least hold the enemy off you for a round or 2 before dieing. And he could be CRUCIAL against the Vong. Jedi Hunters don't Smack him so hard.

Disruptive, in MY expierence can be more useful. While I see the Bodyguard and another attacker can help, disruptive saves me alot. Super Stealth, and such.

I think squad #2 is the better bet. The first squad lacks accurate shot and has most of it's damage potential locked up in one piece. Granted I think Cade is better than some give him credit for, but lack of accurate shot without a backup shooter that has it will really hurt him. Maybe drop Lando for a Sev?

the rebel build looks a lot more solid. you have the big shooter that we all know can do a lot of damage with his lovely wife. but you also have Luke as a backup damage dealer that is a lot more of a sure thing (with push) than Lando's damage is. You also have two disruptive pieces for dealing with non-Lord Vader swaps and superstealth. I would definitely take the rebels over the republic squad.
