I liked Han Rogue in Boris' new Rebel squad, and have been using Ackbar with Dodonna quite a bit. I think this will perform very well. 3 solid shooters that all benefit from Ackbar. R2P0 gives great support and the combination of Ackbar and Han gives me some solid initiative control. If all goes as planned then this squad will do 160 points of unanswered damage. (Late round assault with a first round strike)

I have a few thoughts on this,

First: I think that a squad like this could benefit from Yoda of Dagobah, or even Better Loda (but you don't have the points really) in order to stun some stuff and allow your shooters options early.

Secondly: Perhaps it is just me, but I have found NO use in R2-P0 without a melee beat. 60 Hp today just doesn't last long.

Thirdly: Why Luke? I understand Greater Mobile + Accurate shot, but for 39 points there's got to be something better. I mean, Aurra Sing just on HP I believe could perform as well.

Aurra Sing lacks 2 things that Luke has that are incredibly important. Mobility and double attack. When using Ackbar and Luke he attacks at a solid +13 attack. If he stands still (with a Twilek Scout) he now has a +21 attack. Not to shabby. Combine that with the key 40 damage a round and he is a solid piece. His FP's are just the icing on the cake.
