SO i'm trying to think of ways to abuse the tactics broker. It seems that Rogue and the MTB is pretty much ultimate initiative control. Here are a few ideas based around Rebel and Non-republic

Shaak Ti (or Lukes landspeeder)
Han Rogue
Lobot
Princess Leia
juno
6 x uggie

7 rounds of auto init. One accurate gun, some cunning and princess leia to make Rogue a better attacker.

The above can be done with Lukes Landspeeder which may be a better option because the speeder can shoot which might help against Boba Merc squads and the fact that Leia will be easier to protect. However, the squad looses the cunning from shaak. Still 90 dmg from range is nothing to sniff at.

The NR's version is this

Mara
Han Rogue
lobot
Jaina
6 uggies
Jawa

Obviously, its got a higher power output than the rebel versions (a potential 180 dmg in the first phase) but playing it last night i realised how fragile it is. You lose Mara without her doing much and you pretty much lose the game.
You also have to work without disruptive which can be kind of tricky against Thrawn or piett squads with boosted stormies.

Still with these build you get init control unless you come up against another rogue but they arn't easy to play anyway. If your opponent is unprepared for you you'll walk all over them, but if your opponent can take out your big beat you really have little to fall back on, particulally in the NR builds. Rogue + PL is still a nasty threat to try and contain so losing Shaak or the landspeeder is not always game over.
