Obi Wan Kenobi, Unleashed
Master Kota
Yoda of Dagobah
uggies x5

Yoda gives Light Tutor (+1 FP) to Kota.

This is a kamakazee style squad--everyone rushes forward: Obi wan and Kota in first, with Yoda supporting.

Ideally Obi dies, then 8 FP's to Kota, and keep repulsing.

If they take out Yoda, more FP for Kota. If they don't, Yoda's FR2 will give you a repulse every two rounds.

This looks like a fun squad.

However, I see a couple of problems with it. You don't have good shooter support. You have no initiative control (which isn't that big of a deal for this squad). And you rely completely on Force Powers, which will be a huge problem when running into Thrawn or Vong.

May I suggest replacing Yoda with CS Aurra? That helps a little with a couple of those problems, as well as taking advantage of Kota's stellar CE. You'll have to tweak the filler a little, but it could be worth it. Kota's Renewal is usually plenty to get off his Repulse. And with Obi-Wan hopefully dying first, that'll give you all the force you'll need. And Aurra's accurate shooting will help A LOT.

Just a friendly suggestion. As you have it, this could be a really fun squad. Though it wouldn't be fun at all if you can't use those cool Force Powers.

oh, the vong won't be a problem since those whom I play with only use Rebel/Imperial/Fringe characters. No vong whatsoever.

Honestly, with this squad, Thrawn would only worry me so much. Obi-Wan's short range Push/Repulse should be effective anyways, as you can sort of pick and choose your targets as they are available outside the bubble. If the opponent wants to keep everything inside the bubble, then you just run up there with Obi-Wan and go after Thrawn. If necessary, bring Kota in to finish Thrawn off, and then Repulse in the immediately following round.

Of course, the biggest problem you will probably have against Thrawn squads is that you will be out activated. 8 activations is probably not quite enough to survive fully in 150 points. I would suggest dropping Yoda and putting in some Fringe filler, or perhaps a Cart.
